Unfortunately it broke down on our trip back from Dorset and got towed home. Mobile mechanic ran diagnostics with 2 different machines but didn't get any error codes. He thought it might need a new engine but not sure without spending more money investigating. The car did turn over (very rough) when the mechanic inspected but has been sat for 5 weeks now. Has been a brilliant runner up until now and well looked after. MOT until Feb 2026. 124k miles on clock and good condition inside and out. Would be a great car for someone with time to fix. Slight leak on pass front roof, will leave replacement rubber strips, (bought from main dealer) in the car along with the VW lubricant that is advised to be used on the rubbers each side to stop the shrinking of them in hot weather, prolongs life.
