I stopped using this car a couple of years ago because the brake discs were getting hot after 15 or so miles of driving it & have never got round to repairing it as I bought another car in order to get to work every day so in essence the brakes need looking at & that's about it really. The car does need an MOT which is why it's cheap. Overall it's in great condition for the year & everything works as it should. The engine sounds good & runs fine & for the year it is VERY low mileage!. The full leather interior is also in excellent condition. The car also incorporates a glass sliding panoramic roof. The private number plate IS included in the sale. No real service history is included but I did change the oil & filter every 12 months. 3!!! key's are also included with the car. SPARES OR REPAIR There is a transmission fault, codes have been read and are: 0793 (secondary rpm sensor Y3/9b4 unavailable) 0722 (RPM Sensor Y3/9b5 unavailable) 0896 (impermissible adjustment of the step-down ratio) No problems until the fault comes up (which can be after 10 minutes or drive for hours just fine). Once the fault comes up it feels like it's seeking rpm under acceleration. Stopping and starting the car clears the fault on screen and it drives normally again. Clean car with lovely interior, auto headlights, large colour screen, cd multi-changer in glovebox. Would repair but we have 3 cars and need to get rid of one and I'm not a mechanic and garage rates for dismantling it is prohibitive (look up ecu repair for Mercedes Benz 722.8 CVT).

This Audi A4 2.0 Tdi Avant has been a superb and dependable workhorse for the near 30,000 miles I have covered while I have owned it. It has been just that, a superb workhorse needing only the usual service maintenance and tyres and had a cambelt at 195,000. Don't be put off by the mileage there are far more poorly maintained cars out there with half the miles and not as reliable as this old girl, the car puls strong, does not smoke even when it pulls a trailer, clutch is good, and returns 45mpg pretty much all the time. It really doesn't look its age or mileage with its genuine Audi 18" Multi Spoke alloys and red calipers, the black pack dechrome also sets it off from other models. I will be sad to see her go as it has been so reliable I may live to regret it, but my work brings even more miles for me to cover soon.
