For sale is my 2006 Convertible Audi A4 S-line. I've had this car 11 months and was bought as a stop-gap car until I got another vehicle. I've recently got a car through my own business and therefore, this is the only reason for me selling as I no longer need this car. The GOOD The car itself was owned by an elderly couple for around 6 years and in that time covered under 10k, which you can see from the MOT history searching online. Last MOT passed with no advisories and if you go online and search MOT history, you'll see a good record with minimal issues when it comes to MOTs - More wear and tear parts than anything. In the last 11 months of ownership I don't think I've covered 1k using it as a daily runabout. This has resulted in a well below average mileage for a car of this age. The car hasn't put a foot wrong for me using it as a daily and has been reliable throughout. If I had the room, I'd probably keep it as it's a great car especially when the warmer weather is with us! The BAD 3 things to note: 1 - It's a CAT N car which may bother some people? Didn't bother me as I know a CAT N is non-structural. Honestly, didn't make a jot of difference in the insurance premium and I had an RAC report done on it prior to getting the car. The plus side of a Cat N is that you get a car worth more for cheaper than market value guess. That's the way I looked at it. 2 - Little history with the car. Again, wasn't expecting extensive history for an 18 year old car, but what I do have with the car is a few receipt of work including a receipt for a new turbo at approx 60k which was nice to see. 3 - There's a sensor fault with the roof. Basically, one of the roof sensors will intermittently think the roof isn't locked down when it is. I had it hooked up to a diagnostic tool and it confirmed a sensor. The issue is intermittent and the roof functions fine in terms of dropping and raising and locking. MOT failed on headlight beam adjustment so either switch or motor fault on light. (See pic). Significantly reduced to reflect current state but won't budge for offers. Making a significant loss to clear. Someone will get a bargain for little work. Located in Warrington, north west. Spares or Repair I've owned this car for about 12 years and primarily used it for my renovation business. It currently does not have an MOT. Having taken it to my local garage it requires a new servo for the brakes and a forced regen of the soot filter. It is currently running in "limp mode". It starts first time every time having had a new battery fitted last year. The drivers seat is full electric and both front seats are heated (both working) All tyres are legal and there is a spare (space saver) in the boot. There are plenty of scratches on the exterior and I would describe the interior as tatty with a few tears here and there to the upholstery and paint on the front seats. The car can be driven away but the breaks are dodgy due to the need of a new servo
