Good mechanical order other than clutch issue and sensor issue with automatic release for electric handbrake, meaning you need to release handbrake manually (causes no issues whatsoever). Non runner for Spares or repair. Suspected timing chain failure. Engine cut out on motorway and wouldn’t restart. RAC breakdown report in the photos. This car was very well spec’d from the factory so anyone looking to strip it for parts would do well. That was my plan but just don’t have the time. Would also be a great fixer as it’s a lovely looking car if you have the time & skills to swap the engine. - Factory fitted JCW kit including front and rear bumpers, side skirts & sill trims. - JCW alloys - Full black leather interior with heated front seats which are all in fantastic condition. - Xenon headlights - Sat nav - Harman Kardon sound system It has the BMW 1.6 diesel engine. In 2012 I made a decision to start my own car sales business with a friend. I continued to work full time at Dingbro for a further year whilst in the evening I was building up the business so it was financially ready for me to make the move. In 2013 it was time to leave Dingbro and focus on the new business which over 4 years proved to be a successful venture partnership. In December 2017 I took the decision to come away from the partnership and pursue this venture on my own to which I registered Central Scotland Car Sales Ltd. I have always had a hobby of buying cars and doing them up to sell on. This proved to be a good skill as it helped finance my early years in Motorsport which to this day is still one of my biggest hobbies. For the last 12 years I have always had a car for the track and built some very competitive track cars, which even had a magazine feature. My hobby of track days progressed when I spoke with the team manager at Burnett motorsport about racing in his Legend Racing Team. I progressed to have a successful 5 years there finishing 3rd in the Scottish championship in 2015 and also being part of a team car which won the 2014 team championship. In September 2016 I decided to start my own Legends Car race Team (MCGILL LEGENDS RACING) OR MLR15 as it’s known to sponsors.
