2008 Mazda MX5 1.8i Roadster Convertible *CHEAPEST MK3 IN THE UK*
For sale is my lovely 2008 Mazda MX5 Mk3 1.8 ? I bought this as a summer fun car, but a change in circumstances sadly means it has to go. It has 145,000 miles on the clock, but several people have agreed that it drives like a car with half that mileage. The roof is clean and tidy with no rips, the bodywork is straight and apart from scuffed paint on the passenger?s mirror, is tidy for its age and mileage. The wheels are slightly kerbed and could do with a respray, but are straight and wear good tyres. It includes two keys and receipts for recent work. In my ownership, the car has had: ?MOT (until June 2026) ?Oil & filter change with correct 5W30 ?4 iridium spark plugs ?Welding to both sills ?Headlights restored ?Rear shock absorbers ?Front brake discs and pads ?Rear tyre ?New gearknob ?New floormats As said, it looks smart and drives well, but isn?t perfect ? below are some bits worth noting: ?Damage to driver?s seat bolster (it?s a clich, but you don?t notice when you?re driving) ?Passenger?s door central locking iffy ? sometimes locks and unlocks remotely, sometimes not. Can still be unlocked/locked manually ?I?ve been advised it may need a new PCV valve at some stage ? I?ve included a new genuine Mazda item for the new owner ? In summary this is an honest, presentable MX5 that?s had lots of new parts and money spent in the last few months. It drives superbly and is ready for a summer of fun! I?ve tried to describe the car as honestly as possible ? viewings are welcome, but generic "is this still available?" messages will be ignored. No warranty or returns given or implied. I?m not interested in part exchanges, thanks, and I will only hold the car for you upon payment of a deposit. Owned by my mother for the past 9 years. We spent £1600 in 2024 (new centre and rear exhaust, body control module, suspension springs, battery, camshaft sensors, tyre, etc). Now needs new gearbox (makes noise while in the first 3 gears).. Selling as cannot be bothered to spend any more time and money on this car. Driven until MOT expired (late Feb 25). As it sat on my drive for the past 2 months, now the roof does not go down, nor windows do roll down. This happened once before, around 2017. Sensor in the boot needed replacing (£12 back then). Actual mileage around 77-78k (see mileage history). 93k on the dash due to second hand body control module temporarily fitted as the OEM part was out of stock for 8 months. Mileage adjusted on DVLA/GOV website. Part service history, but a whole pad of parts and labour receipts over the years. Oil and filters changed every summer despite fairly low annual mileage. AC is working well, dual zone. Heated seats (driver and passenger). Full leather interior. Pearl white exterior. In good / very good visual condition for its age. Non smoker, no dogs / pets. 2 owners in total. Declared SORN. MOT expired, not insured.

A great little convertible that's perfect for the summer. This 2007 Peugeot 207 CC has been well looked after and still drives really well, it has a small suspension noise but nothing major as mechanic has advised its in good working condition. It has full service history, with the belt changed at 84k miles. The folding hardtop works as it should and gives you the flexibility of a coupe in winter and a proper convertible when the sun's out. It's got a few age-related marks here and there, but nothing major just what you'd expect for the year. The interior is clean and everything works, including the air con and electric windows. It's comfortable, easy to drive, and surprisingly practical for a two-door. Cheap to run, reliable, and ideal if you're after a fun car without spending a fortune.
