Car has all the usual HSE extras. This car failed its MOT last year on corroded sills. The rest of the car is in good condition. The bodywork, apart from the sills, is in decent condition bar a few age related marks. The engine and gearbox are perfect. The car runs perfectly, no smoke from the exhaust. Doesn't burn oil. All the electrics work... mirrors/windows/heated seats/sunroof/etc. No lights on the dashboard. You have two options with this vehicle. You could get a couple of sill panels to repair the sills and then you'd have a fully functional car. Or, you could part it out for spares as all parts are in functional condition. Either way, there is a lot of value still left in this car. I'm going to get another car so I can't be bothered to do either. NOTE: this car has no MOT, road tax (SORN'ed) or insurance so it absolutely will NOT be road tested. It will, however, be able to drive onto a trailer/low loader as it is fully functional otherwise. Fiat Coupe - 2.0 20v 2dr - Timing belt replaced 128,652
Well maintained mechanically with full service history (yes, even up to this mileage) and plenty of garage receipts including the all important timing belt which was replaced at 128,652 miles (September 2020) with the water pump (and oil seals) at the same time. This car drives and performs well, as you would expect a five cylinder Coupe to, still plenty of life left in the engine which starts, runs and 'pulls' well, even in fifth gear - plenty of torque there. The sunroof (working) is the only factory fitted option on this car, it does not have air conditioning. I have been using the car mainly for long distance driving and it has never let me down but I am now of an age where I think it is time for less of an 'enthusiasts car'. Some spares are included as I don't have the time to sell them separately; Sunroof weatherstrip (original Fiat part),uprated bonnet gas struts (aftermarket),handbrake cable x 1, replacement Clarion radio-cassette (the original stopped working properly and I never got around to doing this swap over). Overall I believe it is in good condition for a 28 year old car (and never being garaged) but of course now shows signs of age and wear despite being looked after by myself for the last twelve. The car drives ok mostly but occasionally feels sluggish, mostly in town type traffic. At motorway speeds it doesn’t seem to have a problem. The interior is in pretty good condition for its age, and everything works as it should in there. Exterior wise, as shown in pics, there are chips in the paint by the boot from loading and unloading pushbikes. Also some marks from having a bike rack on. There’s also a sizeable scuff on the front bumper/wing on the drivers side where someone kindly merged into me on an island a few years ago! The car is currently SORN, but has got MOT until March ‘26. (See online for MOT). The car has two keys. Spare space saving wheel. It’s been sat on the drive for a couple of months now, started up on occasion. I have other vehicles I use so seems daft to hold on to this now.
