Selling my 2003 BMW Z4 2.5L convertible - a classic roadster with a smooth drive, perfect for enjoying the open road this summer. The 2.5L straight-six engine still pulls strongly and sounds great. Roof works flawlessly and opens/closes smoothly, giving you top-down fun at the push of a button. I bought the car early 2024 and meant to use it for the summer but ended up using it everyday to and from work as well as for appointments, it never skipped a beat and travelled a fair distance over motorway, b roads and country lanes. Recent maintenance: New tyres all round and front suspension replaced in August 2024. Honest points to note: The engine warning light is on - believed to be due to a minor air hose leak, but hasn't been investigated further as it hasn't affected drivability. Paintwork shows signs of age, with some areas where the lacquer has peeled - common for cars of this age, but purely cosmetic. Overall, this Z4 drives well, sounds great, and is ideal for someone looking for an affordable, enjoyable convertible with a bit of character. MOT history backs up the ultra low mileage. Runs and drives great. Soft top is in good order and folds down with ease to enjoy on those sunny days. Only reason to sell is due to lack of use and it deserves to be used more. Recent work includes new rear tyres and a small patch of welding on the sill for the MOT, and a new genuine rover/mg clutch master cylinder. Just had the suspension pumped up to its correct height, so it is all ready to go. Overall good condition only thing that lets it down is the bodywork. It's 2008 Chevrolet Lacetti. I'm scrapping it on the 19th July 25. Just put this up incase anyone wants it for banger racer or as a parts car because not many around now. Parts are hard to get. It has MOT until Sunday. The reason why I'm scrapping it is cause the maintenance bill has snowballed: 1. Clutch Hydraulics temperamental. Apparently its the slave cylinder according to garage. 2. Clutch works but on its last legs. 3. Cam belt needs doing 4. Exhaust blowing. 5. Abs is not repairable [ I've changed the sensor and ring with no luck ] 6. Yes the bumper has been changed 2 years ago after I span out on motoway puddle , however it is structuraly sound because fortunately its all plastic. And has been MOTed since. Other than that it's a decent motor. Sadly because of the ABS issue no point fixing it up. Open to sensible offers.

Cheap runaround for sale. Had this car for years still have all original paperwork, book and been very good for fuel today's prices £55-60 does full tank and tax only £14 a month, insurance £30 a month. Has general wear and tear as can been seen, just completed MOT recently so will have just shy of 12 months plus new tyres on the front, rear are decent. Unfortunately since bringing back I've been informed that an injector needs to be replaced £40 on eBay. There is an electrical fault with the boot and door window on drivers side, as I need to change cars as just had a child and 3 door no longer suitable and as you can image my time is limited. I have compared prices across several platforms and the ones I found range from £1500-1800 for this make & model based on mileage without these issues. Hopefully someone finds love for this car as this was my first pride of joy that wants to get these minor issues fixed estimated around £200. The reason for the price being so cheap.
