The car is is excellent mechanical condition and drives really well. No bangs or knocks. Engine runs well with no leaks, smoke or issues. There re only a coupe of hundred Peugeot 206 GTIs left in the UK and this car is an excellent base to get to a concourse condition car. Purchasing a new electric vehicle means I dont have any more space at my house so the Peugeot needs a new home The entire underneath of the car was checked for rust and the rear was cleaned, painted and under sealed. Only one hole was found on the front chassis mount for the flexi brake line and that was welded, treated and is solid. The bodywork has many light scratches and a few small dents. One dent on the drivers side front wing beside the headlight. Another on the passenger side rear bumper and rear quarter under the rear light cluster. A number of parking dents on the doors. It really needs some minor PDR dent removal a very deep polish.. The largest cosmetic issue was the roof. The lacquer was peeling on the roof so i gave it a tidy up and a coat of paint and clear coat. Certainly not perfect but its presentable. Original factory alloy wheels are in good shape no bucking. Some light kerb rash on the edges. Tyres were fitted in 2022 and have about 4k miles on them and 5mm of tread all round. Clutch was replaced at 80k miles (from the service history) so it still has about 30k miles of life left in it. Work done to the car last year. Replaced rear axle with new Replaced both rear shock absorbers New Timing Belt and water pump fitted Replaced front and Rear brake hoses Replaced handbrake cables Welded near side front chassis leg for corrosion hole around brake line mount. Rear chassis cleaned and undersealed. Replaced both front wishbones Replaced O/S wheel bearing Replaced both driveshafts Replaced both driveshaft seals Replaced O/S engine mount Replaced front ABS sensors Replaced ABS pump Replaced front discs and pads Replaced Off side lower engine mount bush Replaced N/S and O/S anti roll bar drop links. Replaced valve cover gaskets on engine Replaced front and rear seating for leather seats. Replaced both wing mirrors Replaced fuel tank strap Full engine service - Oil, Oil filter, spark plugs, Air filter, Clutch and brake fluid change. MOT is due on 7th October 2025. Only one advisory in 2024 about one rear brake disc. Current issues with the 206 GTI Airbag light is temperamental. Mostly stays off but occasionally comes on. Squeaky clutch pedal after about an hours drive (clutch was checked and it is fine no issues) .heat shield has a slight rattle on exhaust. Drivers door lock occasional doesn't lock on unlock with remote (need lubrication) Car comes with a Sony Bluetooth car radio that does calls and music from phone There is a full service history to 2017. After that it is patchy but I have all the receipts of parts and the work I have done in 2024. Overall this is a great classic Peugeot that has had all the mechanical sorted and just need love and time spent on the cosmetics to make it a good car for car shows or used as a classic daily. For sale is my 2006 Convertible Audi A4 S-line. I've had this car 11 months and was bought as a stop-gap car until I got another vehicle. I've recently got a car through my own business and therefore, this is the only reason for me selling as I no longer need this car. The GOOD The car itself was owned by an elderly couple for around 6 years and in that time covered under 10k, which you can see from the MOT history searching online. Last MOT passed with no advisories and if you go online and search MOT history, you'll see a good record with minimal issues when it comes to MOTs - More wear and tear parts than anything. In the last 11 months of ownership I don't think I've covered 1k using it as a daily runabout. This has resulted in a well below average mileage for a car of this age. The car hasn't put a foot wrong for me using it as a daily and has been reliable throughout. If I had the room, I'd probably keep it as it's a great car especially when the warmer weather is with us! The BAD 3 things to note: 1 - It's a CAT N car which may bother some people? Didn't bother me as I know a CAT N is non-structural. Honestly, didn't make a jot of difference in the insurance premium and I had an RAC report done on it prior to getting the car. The plus side of a Cat N is that you get a car worth more for cheaper than market value guess. That's the way I looked at it. 2 - Little history with the car. Again, wasn't expecting extensive history for an 18 year old car, but what I do have with the car is a few receipt of work including a receipt for a new turbo at approx 60k which was nice to see. 3 - There's a sensor fault with the roof. Basically, one of the roof sensors will intermittently think the roof isn't locked down when it is. I had it hooked up to a diagnostic tool and it confirmed a sensor. The issue is intermittent and the roof functions fine in terms of dropping and raising and locking. MOT failed on headlight beam adjustment so either switch or motor fault on light. (See pic). Significantly reduced to reflect current state but won't budge for offers. Making a significant loss to clear. Someone will get a bargain for little work. Located in Warrington, north west. This is a great car which I have had for 4 years, perfect first car as it’s fairly cheap to insure and tax. Only reason I’m selling due to having now a bigger car, would be a great car for someone! Obviously due to age some of the interior and outer paint work isn’t perfect for example, a grey left side wing mirror as a replacement but really not noticeable! Mechanically it is a great car with low miles in comparison to other cars of this age. * All advisory’s from last mot complete other than the ball joint which should cost roughly £100 to get done, also it could do with a bracket welding on mid way on the exhaust pipe as it rattles slightly when driving over bumps, absolutely fine though as I have recently had another bracket welded on further up so it is 100% secure another bracket would just stop the vibrating noise! Needs AC re filling as the gas must have ran out, I haven’t been able to use it for a couple of years. * Bluetooth touch screen smart screen and radio put in by the person who had the car before me * Last service in November 2024 and every year I’ve had the car since October 2021 but no service book unfortunately *1.4 petrol engine *Tinted back windows * Transmission: 5-speed manual gearbox for smooth driving and control. * Mileage: 78,276 miles * Interior: Comfortable, modern interior with premium fabrics and a high-tech dashboard, red seat belts and red and black seats, isofix for children’s car seats in the back. * Entertainment: CD player and Bluetooth connectivity with smart screen * Airbags, ABS * Good tread on all tyres also comes with a full size spare tyre Happy to accept offers as it does need those couple of bits doing on it.
