I stopped using this car a couple of years ago because the brake discs were getting hot after 15 or so miles of driving it & have never got round to repairing it as I bought another car in order to get to work every day so in essence the brakes need looking at & that's about it really. The car does need an MOT which is why it's cheap. Overall it's in great condition for the year & everything works as it should. The engine sounds good & runs fine & for the year it is VERY low mileage!. The full leather interior is also in excellent condition. The car also incorporates a glass sliding panoramic roof. The private number plate IS included in the sale. No real service history is included but I did change the oil & filter every 12 months. 3!!! key's are also included with the car. The Engine light is on but there is nothing wrong with the engine.... One of the minor air compression pipes started sucking in the air from outside and that's when the engine light came on.... I taped the pipe and the engine runs mint since, but the light still stays on. It never bothered me. Aircon is empty. Some bubbling on both wheel arches. Some noise coming from heater/fan unit when keys put in the ignition the first 5 seconds. Front VW badge missing. Genuine sale as I'm buying another car. No time wasters, No offers!!!

Two owners from new,cared for car solid car with all the bells and whistles (ex demonstrator)and in working order. The car wouldn't start one day so a transistor was professionally soldered into the fuel pump. Still wouldn't start so I fitted a mechanical injection pump out of a rover 200.The car starts but smokes. The L series diesel engine is a bulletproof engine (fitted to Land rovers) so probably nothing fundamentally wrong, just that I've inherited another car and this one I think just needs a bit more perseverance. (I'll be sorry to see it go)
