VW Golf 1.6 Petrol Manual Selling our much loved VW Golf as we are moving abroad. Engine size: 1.6 Just passed MOT this month *Advisories: 2 shock absorbers have light misting of oil. Break disc worn but not seriously weakened (this will need attention soon) As viewed in one of the pictures, some of the bodywork on the door started to become a bit loose, so a machanic screwed it back into place. Not the most aesthetically pleasing, but it does the job and isn't very noticeable. I think there has been two previous owners... I will need to check that. I believe we have full service history. The bodywork is clean with a few small scratches at the back — nothing major or unexpected for a 2009 car. Interior is tidy and everything works as it should. It starts first time, runs smoothly, and feels solid on the road. The gearbox is a little slack, and it can be a bit awkward getting it into 5th gear sometimes. I’ve had it checked, and it’s likely just a gear linkage adjustment or stretched cable, which is a fairly easy fix. £950 or nearest offer – fair price given the long MOT and overall good condition.
