2010 Blue VW Golf 1.6 TDI Hatchback Spares/Repairs Has been a brilliant car. Was bought for my grandma who then passed it on to me at 69,000 miles. Was written off at 106,000 miles as got hit by a lorry on the motorway. Damage was mainly panel damage with a slightly bent wheel rim (I believe making the steering wheel shake). Panel damage as shown in the pictures but scrapes got rubbed out. Wheel rim got straightened out and has down 80,000km since with no problem. Needs a new clutch and temperature gauge is showing a problem but I'm no car mechanic! Had a quote of 1000/1500 (including labour) to repair both issues. If I could it fix myself I would keep the car but with half the cost being labour have decided against this. Selling as spares/repairs but I don't think it would take much to get going if you have some mechanical knowledge and can do the work yourself. For sale is my Totoya Celica T-Sport. I've owned it for around 3 years, with the intention of it being a bit of a project, but unfortunately I just don't have the time or money. It doesn't have an MOT and is currently SORNed, so a buyer will need to arrange transport - this is reflected in the sale price. It starts and runs absolutely fine, and I was using it daily until February (just because I started using alternative transport). There is a slow leak of the coolant, which I've not investigated too much but happens even when the car hasn't been running, so I think it may be a simple fix. It also has a bit of a noisy heat shield that sometimes vibrates, usually when it's cold. There are advisories outstanding from the previous MOT that will likely to be sorted before a new MOT. The bodywork isn't in great condition, as can be seen in the pictures. There is a partial service history, but nothing recent. A few bits have been replaced in recent years, including both rear suspension arms, the radiator, the battery, and the exhaust (still stock). Also included in the sale are: • OZ Racing Formula HLT Alloys (£1,200.00 new) • MeisterR ZetaCRD Coilovers (£880.00 new) Included in the pictures is a Sony XAV-AX5550D Head Unit (£350.00 new). I'll remove this and put the original radio back in prior to sale, but am willing to sell it if the buyer is interested. it's a lovely car, and would make a great project for someone with the time to invest in it. Otherwise, it would make a good donor car, or I'm sure good money could be made by breaking it (I just don't have the space!).
