2007 Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE. Spares or repair. Car has covered 161,450 miles. 2 keys, partial service history. V5C. Maintained/serviced by myself for the last few years (career engineer). Car has all the usual HSE extras. This car failed its MOT last year on corroded sills. The rest of the car is in good condition. The bodywork, apart from the sills, is in decent condition bar a few age related marks. The engine and gearbox are perfect. The car runs perfectly, no smoke from the exhaust. Doesn't burn oil. All the electrics work... mirrors/windows/heated seats/sunroof/etc. No lights on the dashboard. You have two options with this vehicle. You could get a couple of sill panels to repair the sills and then you'd have a fully functional car. Or, you could part it out for spares as all parts are in functional condition. Either way, there is a lot of value still left in this car. I'm going to get another car so I can't be bothered to do either. If you can see this ad, it is STILL AVAILABLE! For sale. 2011 Vauxhall insignia. 2ltr diesel. First thing to mention is the engine management light is on and indicating one of the coils is failing. The car drives ok mostly but occasionally feels sluggish, mostly in town type traffic. At motorway speeds it doesn’t seem to have a problem. The interior is in pretty good condition for its age, and everything works as it should in there. Exterior wise, as shown in pics, there are chips in the paint by the boot from loading and unloading pushbikes. Also some marks from having a bike rack on. There’s also a sizeable scuff on the front bumper/wing on the drivers side where someone kindly merged into me on an island a few years ago! The car is currently SORN, but has got MOT until March ‘26. (See online for MOT). The car has two keys. Spare space saving wheel. It’s been sat on the drive for a couple of months now, started up on occasion. I have other vehicles I use so seems daft to hold on to this now.
