Selling my 2003 BMW Z4 2.5L convertible - a classic roadster with a smooth drive, perfect for enjoying the open road this summer. The 2.5L straight-six engine still pulls strongly and sounds great. Roof works flawlessly and opens/closes smoothly, giving you top-down fun at the push of a button. I bought the car early 2024 and meant to use it for the summer but ended up using it everyday to and from work as well as for appointments, it never skipped a beat and travelled a fair distance over motorway, b roads and country lanes. Recent maintenance: New tyres all round and front suspension replaced in August 2024. Honest points to note: The engine warning light is on - believed to be due to a minor air hose leak, but hasn't been investigated further as it hasn't affected drivability. Paintwork shows signs of age, with some areas where the lacquer has peeled - common for cars of this age, but purely cosmetic. Overall, this Z4 drives well, sounds great, and is ideal for someone looking for an affordable, enjoyable convertible with a bit of character. Only reason to sell is due to lack of use and it deserves to be used more. Recent work includes new rear tyres and a small patch of welding on the sill for the MOT, and a new genuine rover/mg clutch master cylinder. Just had the suspension pumped up to its correct height, so it is all ready to go. Overall good condition only thing that lets it down is the bodywork.
