Up for sale is my 2013 Vauxhall insignia 2.0 cdti 160k on the clock runs and drives absolutely perfect. It's recently had over 1k spent on it for the oil pick up seal to be replaced and at the same time the rear main seal, clutch and dual mass fly wheel was replaced. Dpf also been sorted. Strong reliable car mot until the end of August, remapped by TP remapping with popcorn limiter, sounds decent and pulls really well. Only selling as we have purchased a 7 seater. Condition does need some tlc as you can see in the pictures but it won't take much to put back right. I've misplaced the v5 so that will need to be applied for with a v62 form from post office. Feel free to do all your checks. ABS light on due to a sensor about £15 to fix ( I may be able to get this sorted before the sale if i get chance) Just had fresh gearbox oil and new drivers side drive shaft. Owned for around 12 years, averaging around 6-7000 per year.Mileage 142,000, generally local miles school runs, nearby towns, but within that time have travelled around the country the odd times, Wales holidays etc. At 135,000 New clutch and Timing belt. 4 weeks ago new clutch cable. The car cut out on me when I'd pulled over, then managed to get a push start to work. Hours later after work I got a jump lead start from a powerful 4x4 it started first time. However when I left it running outside and returned it had stopped running. A second colleague later tried with a 1 litre car and it wouldn't start with jump leads, it tried a little but wouldn't start. Recovery the next day said its probably an electrical or fuel fault but unsure as to what, his diagnostic machine couldn't tell him, only spent a very short time including paperwork before he towed me home. He said it could be the ignition barrel as he felt it was loose but also that it could be a number of things. EGR was previously blocked off by mechanic which could be the root, so a possible reason or linked, but can be reversed apparently. Watch video for info. Weighing up my options of going through a fix, and in need of a vehicle change after 15 years, I'm going to pass it on to someone who can resolve car faults. Recent timing belt 7k ago. Recent clutch at 7k ago. Three roof bars. Tow Bar with electric socket. Becomes a huge van with seats down fully down into footwell. Sliding doors for tight spaces. It's excellent and popular for camping in, I've slept many many times inside with seats down it's like a double bed size. Mot June. Very clean and tidy. If you can see this ad, it is STILL AVAILABLE! For sale. 2011 Vauxhall insignia. 2ltr diesel. First thing to mention is the engine management light is on and indicating one of the coils is failing. The car drives ok mostly but occasionally feels sluggish, mostly in town type traffic. At motorway speeds it doesn’t seem to have a problem. The interior is in pretty good condition for its age, and everything works as it should in there. Exterior wise, as shown in pics, there are chips in the paint by the boot from loading and unloading pushbikes. Also some marks from having a bike rack on. There’s also a sizeable scuff on the front bumper/wing on the drivers side where someone kindly merged into me on an island a few years ago! The car is currently SORN, but has got MOT until March ‘26. (See online for MOT). The car has two keys. Spare space saving wheel. It’s been sat on the drive for a couple of months now, started up on occasion. I have other vehicles I use so seems daft to hold on to this now. The car CAN be driven away (with Tax and Insurance obviously!) but as mentioned, there is that coil issue. Solid and comfy car with plenty of space inside for most needs. Open to SENSIBLE offers.
