Spares or Repair I've owned this car for about 12 years and primarily used it for my renovation business. It currently does not have an MOT. Having taken it to my local garage it requires a new servo for the brakes and a forced regen of the soot filter. It is currently running in "limp mode". It starts first time every time having had a new battery fitted last year. The drivers seat is full electric and both front seats are heated (both working) All tyres are legal and there is a spare (space saver) in the boot. There are plenty of scratches on the exterior and I would describe the interior as tatty with a few tears here and there to the upholstery and paint on the front seats. The car can be driven away but the breaks are dodgy due to the need of a new servo

The car is is excellent mechanical condition and drives really well. No bangs or knocks. Engine runs well with no leaks, smoke or issues. There re only a coupe of hundred Peugeot 206 GTIs left in the UK and this car is an excellent base to get to a concourse condition car. Purchasing a new electric vehicle means I dont have any more space at my house so the Peugeot needs a new home The entire underneath of the car was checked for rust and the rear was cleaned, painted and under sealed. Only one hole was found on the front chassis mount for the flexi brake line and that was welded, treated and is solid. The bodywork has many light scratches and a few small dents. One dent on the drivers side front wing beside the headlight. Another on the passenger side rear bumper and rear quarter under the rear light cluster. A number of parking dents on the doors. It really needs some minor PDR dent removal a very deep polish.. The largest cosmetic issue was the roof. The lacquer was peeling on the roof so i gave it a tidy up and a coat of paint and clear coat. Certainly not perfect but its presentable. Original factory alloy wheels are in good shape no bucking. Some light kerb rash on the edges. Tyres were fitted in 2022 and have about 4k miles on them and 5mm of tread all round. Clutch was replaced at 80k miles (from the service history) so it still has about 30k miles of life left in it. Work done to the car last year. Replaced rear axle with new Replaced both rear shock absorbers New Timing Belt and water pump fitted Replaced front and Rear brake hoses Replaced handbrake cables Welded near side front chassis leg for corrosion hole around brake line mount. Rear chassis cleaned and undersealed. Replaced both front wishbones Replaced O/S wheel bearing Replaced both driveshafts Replaced both driveshaft seals Replaced O/S engine mount Replaced front ABS sensors Replaced ABS pump Replaced front discs and pads Replaced Off side lower engine mount bush Replaced N/S and O/S anti roll bar drop links. Replaced valve cover gaskets on engine Replaced front and rear seating for leather seats. Replaced both wing mirrors Replaced fuel tank strap Full engine service - Oil, Oil filter, spark plugs, Air filter, Clutch and brake fluid change. MOT is due on 7th October 2025. Only one advisory in 2024 about one rear brake disc. Current issues with the 206 GTI Airbag light is temperamental. Mostly stays off but occasionally comes on. Squeaky clutch pedal after about an hours drive (clutch was checked and it is fine no issues) .heat shield has a slight rattle on exhaust. Drivers door lock occasional doesn't lock on unlock with remote (need lubrication) Car comes with a Sony Bluetooth car radio that does calls and music from phone There is a full service history to 2017. After that it is patchy but I have all the receipts of parts and the work I have done in 2024. Overall this is a great classic Peugeot that has had all the mechanical sorted and just need love and time spent on the cosmetics to make it a good car for car shows or used as a classic daily. The oil has been changed every 10,000 miles, last oil change was just a few hundred miles ago. I do not have a service book but I have receipts for all parts purchased. Pros: -Mechanically exceptional condition, there is no other car this reliable and well maintained in this price range, this is a cheap car you can trust. -Rear parking sensors, electronically folding mirrors. -Excellent interior condition -Always run on Costco premium fuel, very economical, minimum 60 MPG, if you drive at 60 you can achieve 70+ mpg, I have attached an image of a 300 mile trip on which I got over 75 MPG. -4 premium brand tires with years of life left, New space saver tyre in boot with all tools included. -170BHP CBBB engine, the most reliable and economical variant available in this car. Cons: -Rear wiper not working, garage is fully booked for over 1 month so I cannot fix -glovebox can be difficult to close, needs to be pushed from both sides to close -Dent on front bonnet where a pick-up truck reversed into the car. -Paint and bodywork is not perfect but expected given the age and milage. Anyone who knows their cars knows that this is a bargain price considering the work done to the vehicle, this is a rock solid runner. There is no maintenance required except oil changes for the next 50K miles. the car will come with a fresh MOT before purchase. Any inspection welcome, I cannot allow test drives without valid driving license and proof of insurance. Reason for sale is I no longer require this car as I am not doing high mileage. Reliable 2.2 diesel engine, with MOT valid until January 2026 and only 98,000 miles on the clock. There are a couple of small dings on the bodywork (see pics),but nothing that affects use - these were present when we bought it. Generally in good condition for its age. Recently had a replacement 12v battery installed - second hand - which has occasionally needed a jump start if the car hasn't been driven for a few days. Might just need a fresh battery or longer runs. The Android head unit has stopped powering on recently - probably a minor issue but may need looking at if you're keen on using it. Note: We've just learned it's a Category S from before our ownership - priced accordingly, and it's been absolutely fine for us since purchase.
