Selling my 2003 BMW Z4 2.5L convertible - a classic roadster with a smooth drive, perfect for enjoying the open road this summer. The 2.5L straight-six engine still pulls strongly and sounds great. Roof works flawlessly and opens/closes smoothly, giving you top-down fun at the push of a button. I bought the car early 2024 and meant to use it for the summer but ended up using it everyday to and from work as well as for appointments, it never skipped a beat and travelled a fair distance over motorway, b roads and country lanes. Recent maintenance: New tyres all round and front suspension replaced in August 2024. Honest points to note: The engine warning light is on - believed to be due to a minor air hose leak, but hasn't been investigated further as it hasn't affected drivability. Paintwork shows signs of age, with some areas where the lacquer has peeled - common for cars of this age, but purely cosmetic. Overall, this Z4 drives well, sounds great, and is ideal for someone looking for an affordable, enjoyable convertible with a bit of character. Fiat Coupe - 2.0 20v 2dr - Timing belt replaced 128,652
Well maintained mechanically with full service history (yes, even up to this mileage) and plenty of garage receipts including the all important timing belt which was replaced at 128,652 miles (September 2020) with the water pump (and oil seals) at the same time. This car drives and performs well, as you would expect a five cylinder Coupe to, still plenty of life left in the engine which starts, runs and 'pulls' well, even in fifth gear - plenty of torque there. The sunroof (working) is the only factory fitted option on this car, it does not have air conditioning. I have been using the car mainly for long distance driving and it has never let me down but I am now of an age where I think it is time for less of an 'enthusiasts car'. Some spares are included as I don't have the time to sell them separately; Sunroof weatherstrip (original Fiat part),uprated bonnet gas struts (aftermarket),handbrake cable x 1, replacement Clarion radio-cassette (the original stopped working properly and I never got around to doing this swap over). Overall I believe it is in good condition for a 28 year old car (and never being garaged) but of course now shows signs of age and wear despite being looked after by myself for the last twelve. BMW e46 318Ci convertible 2.0 petrol 5 speed manual in Topaz Blue. It had been parked up for 4 years by the previous owner when it stopped running and left under a tarpaulin on the driveway. I bought it this year as something to tinker with and get running. I've replaced the parts that it needed to get it running and and to pass an MOT, including fuel pump, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, tyres, boot struts, rocker cover gasket, CCV, Vanos oil seals, vacuum pump oil seals, door speakers and various bulbs and now it runs and drives and everything works. Has had new oil, oil filter, plugs and airfilter. The roof is in great condition and opens and closes perfectly, everything works. Video linked below to avideo I uploaded of the roof working - https://youtu.be/ltRhu2NL-9g It could do with a new passenger wing as it has rusted through and has had a previous repair by a former owner but could be repairable by someone with the skils, also the front bumper is a bit faded it could do with some general TLC as it's been stood for so long prior to my getting it at the beginning of the year and it being 23 years old. It failed the first MOT in April as it was burning oil, so have done the Valve Stem Oil seals and it's now taxed and MOT'd. Runs very smoothly and was a very nice drive with the top down in the sunshine back from the MOT. I stopped using this car a couple of years ago because the brake discs were getting hot after 15 or so miles of driving it & have never got round to repairing it as I bought another car in order to get to work every day so in essence the brakes need looking at & that's about it really. The engine sounds good & runs fine & for the year it is VERY low mileage!. The full leather interior is also in excellent condition. The car also incorporates a glass sliding panoramic roof. The private number plate IS included in the sale. No real service history is included but I did change the oil & filter every 12 months. 3!!! key's are also included with the car.
