There’s a little noise from the exhaust, which seems like it could just be a loose nut or something simple. The brakes will need some work — either new pads or possibly discs. You can hear a scratching sound when driving, and if you press the brakes while reversing it shakes a little. MOT is valid until January 2026. I have for sale a 2014 Vauxhall Astra. The car has been a great daily runner and is in very good, clean condition, both inside and out. The bodywork has no dents or rust, just the usual age related marks you would expect to see on a car of this age. The car has been very well maintained over the years, but has spent the last 6 months or so, just sat on the drive as a back up to our main cars, so that we had a vehicle available at all times, however with the cost of living and everything else going up, this is a luxury we can no longer afford. Most of the mileage was motorway mileage travelling from Lincoln to Leicester for work. Everything works as it should and there are no unwanted noises from the engine or anywhere else on the car. This would be great first car, or a cheap little runaround for someone looking for value for money. The price is set at £1500, but would be open to very near offers.
