If you are after a cheap reliable car that is mechanically perfect then here it is! For sale is our 2006 Kia Picanto 1.1 petrol 5 door which averages 55 mpg, is cheap to insure and tax :) Local delivery considered if it helps. Fixed price bargain £650. Our Picanto is mechanically perfect! No issues at all. Its MOT’d til late August and has not failed a test since 2018! It has a chain driven engine so no scary cam belt to worry about and has been serviced on time all the time. In the last couple of years it has had new tyres, new clutch, new suspension bits, new exhaust, sill work to future proof it and new battery (together these cost more than we are asking for the car!). It has no knocks, issues, warning lights etc. Last years couple of advisories were immediately taken care off. It will fly thru its next MOT, it’s only done 2000 miles since its last MOT! It will average 55 mpg and 65+ mpg on a run. Road Tax is £13 a month. Insurance is very cheap. Condition wise it certainly is not a brand new show car, it has some patchy paint and age related imperfections as expected but as you can see from the photos nothing that stops it from its daily use etc. It has a Kenwood Stereo System, Electric Windows, Electric Heated Rear Screen, Air Conditioning, Central Locking, 3x Cup Holders, Power Steering, Air Bags etc It comes with 2 keys, tons of paperwork, receipts and MOTS, spare wheel and tyre. I really wish I didn't have to sell this car, I love it a lot, but unfortunately, the time has come. I just don't have the time or knowledge to maintain the vehicle the way it deserves, so I am looking for someone to give it the TLC it needs. Rover 75 Classic SE CDT Black 2L Diesel 2002 ~74,000 SORN & MOT Expired No optional extras or modifications fitted Last service over a year ago Condition: Tired, but not in bad condition. A few minor scrapes and marks but could probably be detailed out. Minor electric issue, possibly a loose wire, causing the indicator light to speed up on occasion. Battery flat. The engine is in beautiful condition, purrs and runs wonderfully, and the gearbox is still as smooth as silk. Interior is good but has a bit of wear from age. The car currently has one MAJOR ISSUE - the rear brakes are not functioning, i.e., there is no working handbrake. I have the parts required to fix the issue but haven't been able to find the time to do it. Once the rear brakes have been fixed, this car will run and operate wonderfully. The only bit I’d advise is the bumper clips could do with being swapped, they always go in these as they are brittle plastic, really cheap, less than £8 on eBay and a very simple DIY click in job, nothing to shout about and you don’t actually need to do it, just me being OCD! Its just had a brand new set of wheel trim covers as the old ones were past their best. These look really nice! Had clutch master cylinder replaced as was told that was problem why car wouldn't start. No lights on dash or fault codes, it says push clutch to start but will still not start. All interior, exterior and engine bay mint condition no wear.(apart from wing) Power hood and every switch on car full working order mint condition no wear at all. Only 72k mileage Car is sorn. Could be easy fix for someone that knows cars well. Buyer would need to get car recovered from Grimsby as it will not drive. ie truck/trailer.
