I bought this car second hand in March 2024 but I'm buying a bigger car so it's time to sell this one on. Only 1 key, some paperwork but only since I acquired it, a spare tyre and tools in the boot. The radio is basic with a CD slot. It had its MOT in March which it passed with a few advisories. In the last 15 months in my ownership it has had: new clutch 03/08/2024, new battery, replacement washer pump, oil & filter and air filter change on 11/08/2024, 2 tyres, N/S/F wheel bearing and ABS sensor. Perfect new-driver vehicle: cheap to insure, run and repair. The vehicle starts and drives well - summer or winter, back-roads or motorways - and there is no obvious engine knocking, nor weird sounds from the bodywork/suspension etc. as you go over bumps. I've had it 5.5 years, as the 3rd owner, and as far as I know there has never been an insurance claim on it, although there are a few scratches and prangs from minor incidents. In particular, the front bumper has had to be internally glued in at the sides, as some of its internal clips have snapped, and it is missing the front fog-light grill (cheap on eBay) - this bodywork was fine/road-safe at last MOT however. All door/windows/boot seals are good - goes through a car-wash or power jet-wash without any internal leaks; albeit does currently need a good clean inside and out! Four months left on the MOT, and it's been driven less than 3K miles since the last one. Note that this Excite model never had air-con or bluetooth, so I use an external bluetooth dongle, and appreciate the electric front-windows in the summer. The diesel engine is Euro 5, so not ULEZ compliant. I have lots of receipts for work done, including some from the previous owner, and have been getting it serviced at the recommended intervals, but I'm not going to pretend it has a 'full' service history. Priced for a quick sale, as I'm emmigrating.

A complete bearing assembly is only £30 on eBay and easily fitted. Lots you tube videos on it. The paintwork laqueur is coming off in places and there is a 1 cm little bump in the driver's door which could easily be removed. The rear Toyota emblem fell off. £11 on eBay which I may to share the link for or buy for you. These cars go on forever and this one will do the same with regular oil and filter changes.
