However the EML came on and is related to the Turbo, which we would suggest needs a re build (We normally use Midland Turbo at Nottingham) and there is a leak from the steering rack. It will probably want track rod ends and no doubt a drop link or 2 and the Air Conditioning does not blow cold (We have not investigated why). The car has been used daily until the MOT Expiring. The Customer has decided they do not wish to spend on the repairs (as they can not do it themselves) and has purchased a Mk4 CR-V from us. The interior needs a clean, the exterior is still very straight and shiny with just the small scuff to one bumper. All the leather is intact as are the door cards and armrests which are common for wearing through (We had them replaced in 2022) So it's up for Sale as a Spares or Repairs vehicle only to someone that has the skills and know how to replace / fix the steering rack and whip the turbo off, send it to midland turbo for a rebuild and put it back on etc. Or have a mate that will do it very cheaply for you. If you have to pay normal garage rates you may as well buy a retail one (Although obviously you may have to replace the rack/steering pipes and turbo at some point on any CRV) so buying this one and knowing you've fixed it already may be worthwhile ...but I digress. Bought as a project but decided not enough time to get it back on the road. Car starts and drives but needs the following work for MOT: Rear disks and pads At least 1 new tyre, possibly 2 Steering track rod/end offside front Shock absorber offside front Rear side light (I have the new one bought and will go with the car) It also appears to be suffering from a boost leak, I've smoke tested it and I think it needs an intercooler. Interior is in good condition, bodywork is rust free and alloys are in decent shape. With the work done this would be a good daily driver for someone.
