Part service history but since I purchased it it has had the following: May 24 Cambelt changed, both rear coil springs replaced, Rocker cover gasket replaced, new catalytic convertor, new exhaust gaskets, Lambda Sensor replaced, July 24, front disks and exhaust flexi section replaced Sept 24, both front tyres replace at 85593 miles Roof was serviced by expert last September, with new wiring loom and plastic cogs replaced with copper cogs Less than a year old Kenwood DAB radio with excellent hands free. For sale is my 2006 Convertible Audi A4 S-line. I've had this car 11 months and was bought as a stop-gap car until I got another vehicle. I've recently got a car through my own business and therefore, this is the only reason for me selling as I no longer need this car. The GOOD The car itself was owned by an elderly couple for around 6 years and in that time covered under 10k, which you can see from the MOT history searching online. Last MOT passed with no advisories and if you go online and search MOT history, you'll see a good record with minimal issues when it comes to MOTs - More wear and tear parts than anything. In the last 11 months of ownership I don't think I've covered 1k using it as a daily runabout. This has resulted in a well below average mileage for a car of this age. The car hasn't put a foot wrong for me using it as a daily and has been reliable throughout. If I had the room, I'd probably keep it as it's a great car especially when the warmer weather is with us! The BAD 3 things to note: 1 - It's a CAT N car which may bother some people? Didn't bother me as I know a CAT N is non-structural. Honestly, didn't make a jot of difference in the insurance premium and I had an RAC report done on it prior to getting the car. The plus side of a Cat N is that you get a car worth more for cheaper than market value guess. That's the way I looked at it. 2 - Little history with the car. Again, wasn't expecting extensive history for an 18 year old car, but what I do have with the car is a few receipt of work including a receipt for a new turbo at approx 60k which was nice to see. 3 - There's a sensor fault with the roof. Basically, one of the roof sensors will intermittently think the roof isn't locked down when it is. I had it hooked up to a diagnostic tool and it confirmed a sensor. The issue is intermittent and the roof functions fine in terms of dropping and raising and locking. MOT failed on headlight beam adjustment so either switch or motor fault on light. (See pic). Significantly reduced to reflect current state but won't budge for offers. Making a significant loss to clear. Someone will get a bargain for little work. Located in Warrington, north west. BMW e46 318Ci convertible 2.0 petrol 5 speed manual in Topaz Blue. It had been parked up for 4 years by the previous owner when it stopped running and left under a tarpaulin on the driveway. I bought it this year as something to tinker with and get running. I've replaced the parts that it needed to get it running and and to pass an MOT, including fuel pump, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, tyres, boot struts, rocker cover gasket, CCV, Vanos oil seals, vacuum pump oil seals, door speakers and various bulbs and now it runs and drives and everything works. Has had new oil, oil filter, plugs and airfilter. The roof is in great condition and opens and closes perfectly, everything works. Video linked below to avideo I uploaded of the roof working - https://youtu.be/ltRhu2NL-9g It could do with a new passenger wing as it has rusted through and has had a previous repair by a former owner but could be repairable by someone with the skils, also the front bumper is a bit faded it could do with some general TLC as it's been stood for so long prior to my getting it at the beginning of the year and it being 23 years old. It failed the first MOT in April as it was burning oil, so have done the Valve Stem Oil seals and it's now taxed and MOT'd. Runs very smoothly and was a very nice drive with the top down in the sunshine back from the MOT. This was purchased as a smell project but due to personal reasons I can no longer continue with it,it has no mot , it has a blow in the exhaust, needs new wipers, it has a small crack in the window screen which is on the drivers side , and the headlights need a polish as they are clouded up,the car starts and drives as it should with no lights on the dash , it is a 15 year old car so it does have some small scratches but should benefit from a good polish,the roof works perfectly , has 1 key , nice car for summer for someone who is willing to put some time into it .
