Engine is in good condition for its age and has had a timing belt change last year, with recent service done in April. Good first car if you're willing to get the gearbox replaced. 2008 Hyundai Coupe 1.6 with 87k on the clock. Engine and gearbox are in good condition. Cambelt done 15k miles ago with receipt. Bodywork is in ok condition, with several scratches and some fading. MOT due 1st March. Four good matching tyres (budgets) + spare. Lowered on front and rear coilovers (also budgets). Catback sports exhaust. Limo tint on sides and rear + chameleon tint on front. LED conversion with tinted lights. Carplay unit was installed by one of the previous owners, with a reversing camera wired in. K&N ‘reusable’ air filter. Oil and filter, spark plugs, coolant and pollen filter were changed in February. Since then it has also had a full set of front + rear brake pads, 7 new wheel studs on the rear, a new outer CV boot (MOT defect),and a pair of outer track rod ends. Offside front + rear wheel speed sensors were replaced last week. Was told the AC compressor was ‘noisy’ by the previous owner so he removed the belt. There is one remote key which unlocks the car fine, but the lock button has deteriorated and no longer works. Please note that this vehicle sits very low, and the ride is extremely firm. The front left coilover does require attention as per the MOT, but I have been driving it with no issues. Front strut mounts will eventually need replacing. The alloys need a refurb and the spoiler needs a respray. Fun car for not a lot of money and low insurance group.
