Welcome to the listing of my little Mercedes, I brought this car a couple of months ago with a few issues and not much history, but with the intention to bring it back to glory and use it as a summer car. Sadly time are hard and I need the money and space. I’ve been using it as my run around the past couple weeks as my main cars broken, so it is all drivable and ready to go. The engine sounds and run perfectly, and is a quick little car when needed. It has a all electric hardtop roof, which all work as it should, and it doesn’t leak from what I’m aware. Since I’ve owed it, it’s had a full service, 2x tyres. Issue and problems I know and found since driving. 1. BaS/ESP and eml light on, been told it’s the abs pump. Hasn’t been a issue with the drive of vehicle. 2. The drivers side front wing is bent, and the drivers side head light is slightly loose. 3.drivers inner door handle/lock is temperamental, some times let you out, sometime doesn’t. 4. I think a ball joint and track rod end needs doing as steering wheel not straight, and knocks. 5. The front bumper and fog lights broken, due to pheasants, 6. Broken mirror glass. 7.front brakes are low. Good bits. It has mot till September/October time. 1 key, v5c present. Cheap classic sports car. All electrics and entertainment works. Hard top convertible all works. Low miles 87,000 miles Interior is in okay condition too. This car is not perfect, it has its ages related/car park bings and marks and a few little dent here and there. It overall it’s not a bad little car for someone with time to bring it back to life, it does need a good valet and wash. I might do that before it sells. I have just used it for 4 day driving down and around London and it never missed a beat, it’s a shame I have to sell it. It sold as seen. Amazing vehicle, under 96,000 miles, perfect first car and a keeper, having to sell as have moved to London and don't want her sitting around for too long. MOT due 15/11/25. Has been regularly serviced at least once a year with reports for the large majority asides from the odd job I have done myself. Relatively fresh timing belt. Slight shows of wear n tear, such as on the front bumper as can see in photos, but runs very well. Replaced starter motor 500 or so miles ago, went for a slightly cheaper part, resulting in a slightly coarse start up sound - this doesn't affect how it runs. ULEZ compliant. Currently SORN as of May. Tyres in good condition. Pretty cheap to insure and cheap to run. Fuel consumption (urban): 32.1 mpg Fuel consumption (extra urban): 56.5 mpg Fuel consumption (combined): 44.1 mpg CO₂ emissions: 154g/km Insurance group: 09E Bluetooth connection for music, as well as radio and aux plugin. Electric sunroof is in good condition with no signs of leaking, perfect for the summer. Comes with a spare key. Really love this car and it has never let me down. SPARES & REPAIRS - DOES RUN As you can see from the photos the car isn't in the best of shape. There is cosmetic damage all over, scratches, small dents, cracks and bumps. I've tried to provide photos from all angles. MOT NOVEMBER. NEEDS CLUTCH - FEELS LIKE IT IS ABOUT TO GO SOON, NOT VERY GOOD ON ANY INCLINE, TAKES A WHILE. More in depth: Bird marks on roof and bonnet. Scratches down most sides and front bumper. Also on boot. Dent on driver door above handle. Rear passenger door dent/chip. Crack back right, covered by sticker. Yellowing on rear driver indicator light. Peeling on boot above numberplate. Paint peeling on front. Missing 3/4 roof rack clip/covers. Driver wingmirror casing loose/broken. Dusty, dirty. Did use small hoover to clean some up but not a full detail or clean. Hole in driver floor, not through. Back rear passenger break light bulb gone. Front Passenger Headlight bulb gone. Some sealing broken. Sometimes when ignition is turnt, it doesn't turn on and can hear a slight flapping. Usually wait 10-20 seconds try again, only happens rarely. Twice in the last 6 months. Dog hairs on seats. "Good" things: Spare tyre & Jack. New Reg Plates Since December. 3 new tyres since December. Spacious. Did run lovely before clutch started to go. ULEZ Compatible. NO SERVICE SINCE 2019. SERVICE BOOK THERE. ONLY MOT CERTS AND ODD REPAIR DOCUMENTS. 2 KEYS TOTAL. Runs with misfire and oil leak. Unsure where misfire is coming from, coil packs, spark plugs and HT leads checked - all fine. Oil leak is suspected piston rings or valve stem seals. Rear sills will need attention due to rust. Compression was tested and was 160, 120, 120, 140. Clutch slave master cylinder has also gone so slips easily but does not slip out of gear. A much loved car, I just don’t have the time for it anymore. It will need to be trailered away.
