BMW e46 318Ci convertible 2.0 petrol 5 speed manual in Topaz Blue. It had been parked up for 4 years by the previous owner when it stopped running and left under a tarpaulin on the driveway. I bought it this year as something to tinker with and get running. I've replaced the parts that it needed to get it running and and to pass an MOT, including fuel pump, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, tyres, boot struts, rocker cover gasket, CCV, Vanos oil seals, vacuum pump oil seals, door speakers and various bulbs and now it runs and drives and everything works. Has had new oil, oil filter, plugs and airfilter. The roof is in great condition and opens and closes perfectly, everything works. Video linked below to avideo I uploaded of the roof working - https://youtu.be/ltRhu2NL-9g It could do with a new passenger wing as it has rusted through and has had a previous repair by a former owner but could be repairable by someone with the skils, also the front bumper is a bit faded it could do with some general TLC as it's been stood for so long prior to my getting it at the beginning of the year and it being 23 years old. It failed the first MOT in April as it was burning oil, so have done the Valve Stem Oil seals and it's now taxed and MOT'd. Runs very smoothly and was a very nice drive with the top down in the sunshine back from the MOT. MOT failure on 2nd fast idle emissions test, believed to be due to a slight misfire in March 2025. Did have spark plugs and oil change March 2025, along with other MOT failure items fixed (new tyre & replaced bulb). Also ran some Cataclean through it, but emissions failed on retest still. I've owned the vehicle since 2017. Fun little car to drive, but since working from home it has seen very little mileage each year as it's our second car. I've not got around to getting it fixed, so it's time to sell it unfortunately. Plenty of photos on the advert. Overall physical condition is decent for a car of that age. A few little chips and scratches about, and there is some fading on the roof. Rear parking sensors also have shown a fault for some time. Comes with 2 sets of keys. Battery is currently flat, so will need jump to get started. Please bear in mind there is no MOT so you cannot test drive on the road. Please note this vehicle is affected by the Takata airbag recall (as are all 2009-2019 C3 / DS3's). Citroen will replace those for free, I'm awaiting on an appointment for the replacement to be done.
