Bad points: 3rd gear synchro can be a bit crunchy( was like it when purchased) ,Paint lacquer has peeled in places . Dash engine light is on but both 02 sensors have been changed.Drivers seat bolster shows metal . Advisory on last mot was rear brake lines.Wings are rusty at the bottom & around the petrol cap. Wheels could do with a tidy up . Good points. Roof is good (comes with a spare frame) & works . Original 6 disc changer works. Mot runs out in august, currently sorn. Suspected oil cooler needs replacement Creamy water in water tank No cream in in actual oil Water tank not pressurising Doesn’t overheat Looks like oil is leaking from oil cooler With all that in mind I would say it’s the typical oil cooler issue Runs and drives fine and will drive anywhere local ok but I wouldn’t recommend going further. Has recently had new rear discs and pads and has lots of service history. Everything else works and only has check coolant light on the dash. Roughly £1800 if this was fixed with a new mot and the gearbox alone is £350.
