The trim in the centre console where the audio unit is scratched (see images). Interior is in great condition otherwise.
A creak from the passengers front has developed since the repairs were carried out. Found it to be a slightly dried up ball joint on the anti roll bar linkage.
One of the lugs of the glovebox so it’s slightly insecure when it’s open. It sits perfectly secure in the closed position and makes no noise.
Purchased this vehicle as it was going to scrap after failing its MOT on 4 tyres and the vehicle also had a fault with the ABS pump. I felt it was too good for scrapping and would be a good cheap run around for someone.
I recently purchased this corsa but the owner had lost the V5. After carrying out several repairs and having an MOT, when I went to sell the car I found a notice on the V5C. The vehicle has a CAT S against it. This means the vehicle was written off by the insurance company as the cost of repair outweighed the value of the car. The vehicle was then salvaged and put back on the road. It is a legal requirement to state the vehicle has a Cat S. Cat S refers to structural damage and the evidence on the vehicle suggests the vehicle has a new front end in previous years.
I Contacted the Hpi vehicle history checker after paying for a background check and also contacted DVLA for reassurance.
