Spares and repairs. Private plate will be removed - left in photos for MOT history purposes. Selling as spares and repairs as some days it drives fine and others sounds like diesel knock and starts smoking. Turn off car and back on and it runs fine again. Engine is fine would be a decent car for someone when fixed! It’s 100% a fuel problem just don’t have time to get it fixed. Been told it’s easy to fix if you know what you’re doing!! Handbrake might need tightening. Scratch on rear passenger side door. (Not bad at all) Had diagnostic plugged in and shows glow plugs.(again doesn’t affect the car at all!) I only use it for school runs/ to and from work which are all local so never gets a good run. Could be an easy fix for someone but I don’t have the time or patience to get it sorted. It’s the 360 camera model. It’s had full service in last 2 months. Two new front tyres. New brake pads on front. New fuel filter. Had a new clutch 1500 miles ago! NO STUPID OFFERS….

Little band van that I’ve been scooting most my music gear around in for the past 2 years. Drives ok. Great boot. Good sized mini estate. The 1.4Tdi is really high geared so you spend a lot of time driving in 3rd but the car is generally ok and passed it’s most recent MOT which expires in December. Cambelt was changed about 12 months ago. £20 tax. 60+ mpg. EML been on since the day I bought it. Exhaust pressure sensor. MOT place thought they fixed it, came back the next day. I’ve not noticed anything wrong with the car. No smoke etc. Developed a power steering leak about 3-4 months ago and as it’s spent a while sitting the DPF light is now on. It just needs some TLC and someone to sort it but the engine is sound and the only reason I’m selling is my gigging days have temporarily ceased.

2005 Vauxhall Astra 5 door ULEZ free 2 keys 1.4 petrol engine Manual 5 door Long MOT - January 2026 Owned since 2011. Car has had everything it's needed, tonnes of paperwork. Serviced every year. Last done in January 2025. Starts first time and drives spot on, no engine or gearbox issues. Front brake disc and pads done after this year. Rear disc and pads done last year with a new caliper fitted to passenger rear. New battery fitted. Starter motor changed Inner and outer tie rods changed in 2024 Crankshaft pulley and seal has been changed. Rocker cover gasket replaced last week Full coolant change has been done recently in February. Timing chain and water pump has also been changed while I've owned it. No expense has been spared, car has had everything it's needed, tonnes of paperwork, a lot of stuff done that hasn't been listed. Body work has a few scratches, and the seats have minor rips. Nothing major, hence the lowered price. Passes MOT every year, no issue.

My last MOT was on 7/4/17.Being an Avantgarde model with lwb,I come with A/C , half leather interior, electric windows,electric mirrors, 5 speed manual transmission, Sony cd player ( my owner will include this! ),copious amounts of rear space ( adjustable rear seats ) . Surely I’m worth a second chance… Just before this issue occurred, I’ve had a lot of work done by my owners son: 1) spark plug change 2) air filter replacement 3) oil & filter drain + replacement 4) fuel filter change 5) coolant drain + refill 6) Used tested Coil pack replacement (old unit to be included in sale too) Obviously i have no MOT, so i will need to be trailered away 🥺 Seriously buyers only, we discuss details prior to collection.
