Welcome to my ad Here we have my 2011 mondeo estate 2.0tdci Short mot but will put through for right deal. High mileage but can rest assured this motor drives absolutely mint. Past couple years had engine rebuild new clutch new battery new starter new alternator( no paper work ) but speaks for itself... In the last month had 2 front shocks ( nitrogen ) nsf inner and outter track rod. X2 brand new delmax tyres and tracking. All new upgraded bulbs in front. It's got a backbox delete on it sounds very nice and subtle can barley hear it. Also has a k&n induction filter and maff adapter. Half leather interior. Also have a set of glow plugs that will either come with the car or will be fitted in due course if I get the time. Has marks around the body but to be expected. Selling my beloved Volvo as our family is moving abroad. Car is in great working condition, just sit in and drive. There is some rust and paint defects as it can be seen in the photos. Wheels have been restored recently, car has been taken to a Volvo service garage and had been checked and repaired for any outstanding issues they found (basically done a health check) and MOT is valid til 6th October. Jumping in , a quick trip to the nearby petrol station, 25 pound of fuel and were off. Driven 159 miles back, just over 3 and 1/2 hours, What a great car to drove back in, the slightly sporty seats are very supportive. Slightly higher seating position and a huge glass windscreen. I do like a VAG group car, and everything is easily to hand. Everything seemed tp work on the way back, windows, mirrors, even the climate, aircon is cold, but not ICE cold...... - MECHANICALS: Fitted with the brilliant 2.0 TDI Vw engine. My 3rd favourite engine ever, after the 1.9TDI and 1.2 3 cylinder vw engines. Getting upto speed straight on to the A19, then onto the A1 it didn't miss a beat, Sounds great , the PD engine. Mated to the 6 speed gearbox, It did drive well. Changes well, and no issues with the suspension either. Quite a quiet car to drive back in.... - EXTERIOR: The car is finished on metallic black, Suprisingly for a 17 year old car there really isn't that much in the way of damage. Yes there's a slight crease dent in the rear drivers quarter, and another in the rear passenger door, problems of having flat doors in a supermarket car park im guessing. There's a crack in the rear passenger light, it's been repaired, and a cracked front fog lamp. However, for 17 years old, its in great shape, and im probably being more honest than most car traders, by actually picking fault with a nice car.... - INTERIOR: The car has sports like front seats, Very supportive on the way back, and hardly any damage / wear to the drivers bolster. The passenger front is also in good condition, As are the 3 movable rear seats that slide back wards and forwards, allowing more leg room, or a larger boot, brilliant !! Mercedes SLK 230 PETROL IN SPORTS RED & AMG ALLOY WHEELS 245 ON REAR @ 225 ON THE FRONTS I bought this car in 2020 and always intended on keeping it. Only reason for sale is I have inherited a Mercedes CLK 320 PETROL 2003. This car does drive superb and a lot of fun to drive. You will see from the photos I have spent a hell of a lot of money on it and I have only done 3000 miles in it in my ownership over last 5 years. Had 4 new tyres, new brake pipes, new ball joint, tie rod end LH/RH, Lamba sensor. Just had new battery fitted in last few weeks only to find out it wasn't the battery that was the problem. Had to have the dreaded K40 fuse board replaced ( see photo of receipt) Had new relay fitted in April for electric seats as they had packed in moving correctly. Just had flex discs replaced and prop balanced. New flex discs to centre and rear from Mercedes. Original merc radio packed in a few weeks ago and bought a new blue tooth stereo with hands free built in. All this money spent on it this year alone is because I was always keeping it and although high Milage it does run like a dream. The bad bits are the following. Lacquer peel in various places (see pics) drivers side front wing rusty and requires repair or replacement. This was going to be my last job to get all the body work done if I got all the mechanical stuff done, which it is now. I was going to get the front wing filled and repaired to sell but have decided to leave it for new owner to sort either way repair or replacement. Drivers seat torn on bolster see pics. Boot latch/handle works fine but sticks so you have to move back in position each time. To be honest it's just the body work that lets it down and it does drive nice and tight and very quick. Electric roof works perfectly and it has never leaked in my ownership. It comes with all Mercedes books, service record book as per pics. Lots of old MOT's . 2 working keys, full log book in my name. Locking wheel nuts were removed when I first bought it and replaced with correct ordinary studs. This car is a great fun summer car and drives excellent. I must admit a lot more fun than a CLK but need the room and yes you guys know it, wife won't let me have both. Owes me a lot of money that I will never get back but next owner will have a fantastic fun car with all mechanical issues done.
