2013 FORD FIESTA 1.0 ECOBOOST 5DR NON RUNNER with a speedo reading of 108106 genuine miles. This car was brought in January 2023 in full working condition for £5000 with no indication of any problems or faults. I paid for the car to have a full check before final purchase. Again no problems. Money was paid by bank transfer so it has no outstanding finance or payments attached to it. The car has had full service history/mots until it refused to start one morning in January 2025. Approx 6 weeks prior to this, when the car was running, the oil pressure warning light was illuminating intermittently. We got it seen to straightaway and the wetbelt was found to be falling. This is a common fault with these engines, and due to the age of the car and position of the wetbelt, we were also advised to replace other parts, which were the sump oil pump, oil pump belt, water pump and water hose from header tank, other works included, an engine flush, belt debris cleaned from sump, plus new oil and oil filter supplied. We did this and paid just under £1500 for the works. When the car wouldn’t start in January 2025, the mechanic who completed the previous works took a look at it again. He performed some diagnostic tests and looked in the bonnet. He thinks that the head gasket needs replacing but as we’ve just pay out £1500 we don’t want to spend anymore on it. Overall, it’s been a good first car for our son. Due to work commitments, the car has remained on our drive since. Its mot has now run out.

Renault Megane Dynamique 1.6 petrol, with only 75k miles. Lady owner for past 9 years. Left in garage & unused for about 4 years. Put new battery in & fresh petrol & it started 1st time! This car was used daily, until arrival of children. Mot expired back then. It has a brand new battery. The ignition coils & low profile tyres were replaced when last used. The glass roof folds down into the boot (which is huge, when roof is up) but haven't done this recently, as car is now on driveway & don't want to take any chances. It was fine back then, but I will leave to new owner to lube the mechanism, but it used to have no problems. Can be driven as is, of course. The worst point is lacquer flaking, around the boot & nearby. (please check pictures) It also has air conditioning (will need filling obviously) & alloy wheels. Also a good sounding original CD player. This car is perfect for some cheap summer fun & someone who is able to spend a few hours getting it all good. Injury means I cant do it myself. We were in France for a couple of years and had started the process to export the car there but it was never done. Having brought it back to the UK it now has to have a V55/5 form to remove the export marker. There is no charge for this. The car does need an MOT but is in decent condition but it needs the MOT to request the V55/5 form. The car is a good runner with good engine and gearbox and starts first time every time. It has new brakes all round and new battery and also new starter motor about 18 months ago. I know of no faults that would cause it to fail an MOT. Last MOT in 2022 in the UK was fine with nothing required and Control Technique (MOT equivalent in France in 2023 was also clear. The price reflects the condition of the car without an MOT.
