BAD BITS - The car needs a Front O/S Coil spring replacement, Cosmetically this car isn’t perfect, with dents and marks around the interior and exterior through no fault of ours! The most notable dent is on the Offside Rear door which a car park mishap resulted in the car being categorised Cat N in 2022 due to age and mileage. The door was dented and could be swapped with a good second hand door for around £60 but the car is perfectly usable as is (apart from spring replacement). 180k miles. Welcome to the listing of my little Mercedes, I brought this car a couple of months ago with a few issues and not much history, but with the intention to bring it back to glory and use it as a summer car. Sadly time are hard and I need the money and space. I’ve been using it as my run around the past couple weeks as my main cars broken, so it is all drivable and ready to go. The engine sounds and run perfectly, and is a quick little car when needed. It has a all electric hardtop roof, which all work as it should, and it doesn’t leak from what I’m aware. Since I’ve owed it, it’s had a full service, 2x tyres. Issue and problems I know and found since driving. 1. BaS/ESP and eml light on, been told it’s the abs pump. Hasn’t been a issue with the drive of vehicle. 2. The drivers side front wing is bent, and the drivers side head light is slightly loose. 3.drivers inner door handle/lock is temperamental, some times let you out, sometime doesn’t. 4. I think a ball joint and track rod end needs doing as steering wheel not straight, and knocks. 5. The front bumper and fog lights broken, due to pheasants, 6. Broken mirror glass. 7.front brakes are low. Good bits. It has mot till September/October time. 1 key, v5c present. Cheap classic sports car. All electrics and entertainment works. Hard top convertible all works. Low miles 87,000 miles Interior is in okay condition too. This car is not perfect, it has its ages related/car park bings and marks and a few little dent here and there. It overall it’s not a bad little car for someone with time to bring it back to life, it does need a good valet and wash. I might do that before it sells. I have just used it for 4 day driving down and around London and it never missed a beat, it’s a shame I have to sell it. It sold as seen. Late sport version, black leather, rear spoiler, lots of new parts, garaged all its life so no rot in the sills or frame, was driving really nice as 4 wheel aligned. Engine has lost power and is running very rough so not drivable for any distance, no engine management codes, comes with good engine from 407 coupe so would need ancillaries and brackets swapped, engine had huge torque an drove perfectly. Mot November 25, would be a great project car, buyer collects car and spare engine, gearbox had just been serviced, engine remapped last year, nice number plate.
