Citroen DS3 - 1.6 THP DSport Plus Euro 5 3dr
MOT failure on 2nd fast idle emissions test, believed to be due to a slight misfire in March 2025. Did have spark plugs and oil change March 2025, along with other MOT failure items fixed (new tyre & replaced bulb). Also ran some Cataclean through it, but emissions failed on retest still. I've owned the vehicle since 2017. Fun little car to drive, but since working from home it has seen very little mileage each year as it's our second car. I've not got around to getting it fixed, so it's time to sell it unfortunately. Plenty of photos on the advert. Overall physical condition is decent for a car of that age. A few little chips and scratches about, and there is some fading on the roof. Rear parking sensors also have shown a fault for some time. Comes with 2 sets of keys. Battery is currently flat, so will need jump to get started. Please bear in mind there is no MOT so you cannot test drive on the road. Please note this vehicle is affected by the Takata airbag recall (as are all 2009-2019 C3 / DS3's). Citroen will replace those for free, I'm awaiting on an appointment for the replacement to be done. We bought this fabulous car 3 months ago and has everything you could possibly imagine replaced. We have suddenly found we have inherited a new car and don't need this one . This really is an unusual and well looked after car for his age. Great for someone who is looking for a reliable 1st car or family. Low milage 76000 This is what the previous owner has said about the sid. The Sedici is made by Suzuki and is exactly the same as the Suzuki SX4 except for the badges. It is 2 wheel drive with selectable 4 wheel drive in high and low ratio that all works well. Sid has been meticulously looked after by me and had only 3 previous owners, one of which was Fiat using him as a demo car. When I first acquired him in 2020 he had 60,000 miles on the clock backed up by old MOT’s, I thought the clutch pedal was a little high so had a new clutch fitted by Mister Clutch in Birmingham, they said that there was nothing wrong with the old clutch but as they had the gearbox off I told them to replace it. I my self, replaced all of the front suspension, front and rear brakes including rear cylinders, front disc’s and rear drums, water pump, fan belt, rear wheel bearing, front and rear axle oil, brake fluid and wiper blades, not because it needed it, but it was lockdown and I needed something to do and I wanted to make sure Sid was safe and reliable. Later that year the battery failed and I fitted a new battery. Since then I have done about 15,000 miles with zero issues, I have changed the engine oil every year (Fiat recommended oil) as did the previous owner (I have all the receipts),I have fitted a K&N air filter which you clean each year instead of replacing and it gives higher air flow, I have fitted Iridium spark plugs, the brake master cylinder had a bit of creep on it so I replaced that and have bled the brakes twice since owning Sid, I also replaced both rear axle drive seals as one had a slight weep, fitted uprated headlight bulbs, OEM Fiat mudflaps, new clutch pedal rubber and bought bespoke mats for inside. In Feb 2023 I had 4 new all weather tyres fitted, they have now done about 7,000 miles. He is great on fuel (about 40 mpg),is stable and steady. If you are looking for a fast car this is not the car for you, he goes well and will look after you if you look after him and care for him, but it is not a car to thrash around. MOT is until 10/11/2025, last MOT he failed on lower wishbone, as this had not long been changed and had a 5 year warranty on it the supplier sent me 2 new lower wishbones and I replaced both of them. He has a cam chain not cam belt so no issues there all the electrics work well, has electric windows which all work. I would get in Sid and drive him anywhere as I know him well and know how reliable he is, whoever decides to buy him will get a lovely little car, with great 4 wheel drive capabilities at a very low price. Bad bits: There is a small dent in the drivers door and a few scuffs on the bumpers that have been there since I have owned him. Wheels have a few scuffs again been there since I owned him. Aircon needs recharging. Thanks for looking and any questions please ask, if you want to take a look you are most welcome but without insurance you will not be allowed to drive him so please don’t ask, I won’t accept silly offers, I would rather he stays on the drive than give him away.

We were in France for a couple of years and had started the process to export the car there but it was never done. Having brought it back to the UK it now has to have a V55/5 form to remove the export marker. There is no charge for this. The car does need an MOT but is in decent condition but it needs the MOT to request the V55/5 form. The car is a good runner with good engine and gearbox and starts first time every time. It has new brakes all round and new battery and also new starter motor about 18 months ago. I know of no faults that would cause it to fail an MOT. Last MOT in 2022 in the UK was fine with nothing required and Control Technique (MOT equivalent in France in 2023 was also clear. The price reflects the condition of the car without an MOT.
