Citroen DS3 - 1.6 THP DSport Plus Euro 5 3dr
MOT failure on 2nd fast idle emissions test, believed to be due to a slight misfire in March 2025. Did have spark plugs and oil change March 2025, along with other MOT failure items fixed (new tyre & replaced bulb). Also ran some Cataclean through it, but emissions failed on retest still. I've owned the vehicle since 2017. Fun little car to drive, but since working from home it has seen very little mileage each year as it's our second car. I've not got around to getting it fixed, so it's time to sell it unfortunately. Plenty of photos on the advert. Overall physical condition is decent for a car of that age. A few little chips and scratches about, and there is some fading on the roof. Rear parking sensors also have shown a fault for some time. Comes with 2 sets of keys. Battery is currently flat, so will need jump to get started. Please bear in mind there is no MOT so you cannot test drive on the road. Please note this vehicle is affected by the Takata airbag recall (as are all 2009-2019 C3 / DS3's). Citroen will replace those for free, I'm awaiting on an appointment for the replacement to be done. My son has brought me a little 107 for local run abouts and to be fair its a tad small! Hence selling. It's a very nice little auto ulez car. It has MOT and runs and drives quite nice and have had most of the work done for a fresh test. Work done includes: - new engine at under 60k miles (about 300 quid parts plus labour) - new brakes and cylinders all round (fitted and bled) - new tyres all round (about 200 quid) - Fresh service and filters (about 60 quid) The suspension is tight, ac works (fairly ice cold) and power steering/electrics are all good. It's the Toyota engine which is quite bulletproof as the replacement engine runs sweet with no misfires etc. The auto gearbox I had my mechanic friend to check and is I'm fully working order as it changes gears fine in both manual and auto. I was intending to take it for local shoppings and has had a few motorway runs but fancied something bigger to be fair. The bad bits from what I can see are that t - the bodywork needs some tlc with evident bit of rust at places but it's quite good for age as you can see from the pictures! - Also noted a slight beeping sound when driving at times and spoke to my mechanic appears that the clutch may need adjusting as appears to slip a bit under very hard acceleration (but fine when driven gently, and no burning smell whatsoever, as having done 100 miles trips like this)? Runs and drives fine regardless especially for local journeys. There is also some extra bits that come with the car as spares which I am happy to sell with the car for the right buyer as shown in the photos. Its 20 quid a year to tax and very cheap to run, it could probably go to a good new home. I don't know much about these cars so just thought to sell and get something bigger. Happy to take reasonable offers and priced down due to the above good and bad bits! any questions please ask by all means though do come through for a viewing! thank you.
