For sale is my 2001 BMW Z3 M Sport. The reason for the low price is due to the car having low compression on cylinders 2 and 3 (as shown in the pictures). It could very well be a straightforward fix, but after getting the brakes all done, a new coil pack fitted, the exhaust system repaired and putting in a new battery, I'm not prepared to invest much more. The bodywork is commensurate with age, as is the hood (though it would benefit from a refurb). The interior is very clean and everything works as it should. The car changes gear well and recently had the cooling system overhauled, including a new radiator, expansion tank and hoses. The car is priced in respect of the work it needs - it needs the back dampers replacing, the brake pads and the brake sensor (I have the new brake sensor which will come with the car, just needs fitting). The car's electronic system also needs work - speedometer, fuel gauge are being temperamental which is related to the work needed on the dampers and brakes. The roof works and is fully waterproof. The bodywork is in great condition for the age. The car is still fully driveable and I have looked after it with regular oil changes etc. The car could be driven to its destination, by a confident driver. I could potentially deliver within a reasonable distance. It has a MOT until 1st October so still plenty of time to get the work done. The car could turn a profit easily if someone can carry the work out themselves. The car has some service history.
