If you can see this ad, it is STILL AVAILABLE! For sale. 2011 Vauxhall insignia. 2ltr diesel. First thing to mention is the engine management light is on and indicating one of the coils is failing. The car drives ok mostly but occasionally feels sluggish, mostly in town type traffic. At motorway speeds it doesn’t seem to have a problem. The interior is in pretty good condition for its age, and everything works as it should in there. Exterior wise, as shown in pics, there are chips in the paint by the boot from loading and unloading pushbikes. Also some marks from having a bike rack on. There’s also a sizeable scuff on the front bumper/wing on the drivers side where someone kindly merged into me on an island a few years ago! The car is currently SORN, but has got MOT until March ‘26. (See online for MOT). The car has two keys. Spare space saving wheel. It’s been sat on the drive for a couple of months now, started up on occasion. I have other vehicles I use so seems daft to hold on to this now. Pros: -Mechanically exceptional condition, there is no other car this reliable and well maintained in this price range, this is a cheap car you can trust. -Rear parking sensors, electronically folding mirrors. -Excellent interior condition -Always run on Costco premium fuel, very economical, minimum 60 MPG, if you drive at 60 you can achieve 70+ mpg, I have attached an image of a 300 mile trip on which I got over 75 MPG. -4 premium brand tires with years of life left, New space saver tyre in boot with all tools included. -170BHP CBBB engine, the most reliable and economical variant available in this car. Cons: -Rear wiper not working, garage is fully booked for over 1 month so I cannot fix -glovebox can be difficult to close, needs to be pushed from both sides to close -Dent on front bonnet where a pick-up truck reversed into the car. -Paint and bodywork is not perfect but expected given the age and milage. Anyone who knows their cars knows that this is a bargain price considering the work done to the vehicle, this is a rock solid runner. There is no maintenance required except oil changes for the next 50K miles. the car will come with a fresh MOT before purchase. Any inspection welcome, I cannot allow test drives without valid driving license and proof of insurance. Reason for sale is I no longer require this car as I am not doing high mileage.
