Selling my 2003 BMW Z4 2.5L convertible - a classic roadster with a smooth drive, perfect for enjoying the open road this summer. The 2.5L straight-six engine still pulls strongly and sounds great. Roof works flawlessly and opens/closes smoothly, giving you top-down fun at the push of a button. I bought the car early 2024 and meant to use it for the summer but ended up using it everyday to and from work as well as for appointments, it never skipped a beat and travelled a fair distance over motorway, b roads and country lanes. Recent maintenance: New tyres all round and front suspension replaced in August 2024. Honest points to note: The engine warning light is on - believed to be due to a minor air hose leak, but hasn't been investigated further as it hasn't affected drivability. Paintwork shows signs of age, with some areas where the lacquer has peeled - common for cars of this age, but purely cosmetic. Overall, this Z4 drives well, sounds great, and is ideal for someone looking for an affordable, enjoyable convertible with a bit of character. BMW E46 full m sport package 2004 sapphire black 6 speed manual full black leather interior executive 2 litre diesel N47 engine turbo M3 wheels no cracks new tyres on all wheels in 4 years of having this car I’ve fitted new front wish bones stripped brake calipers cleaned and painted red disks pads good new rear springs and new Bilstien rear shocks drop links I had a rusty wing on front I’ve fitted a new one new indicators front last year I changed oil all filters oil air fuel 4 new Bosch glow plugs there’s a brand new alternator fitted and I’ve had national windscreens fit a brand new windscreen as old one was covered in stone chips and a crack there’s a new quality battery in boot it’s badged up as alpina V5 available and key all windows electric work as mirrors to it’s all been balanced wheels alignment so on dives very straight and true I’ve fitted 12mm wheel spacers too for stance not too much fitted Taylor made floor mats there’s no damage to carpets interior does have minor age related marks here and there it starts and drives all gears bit of where on duel mass flywheel clutch does not slip it was the same 4 years ago it does need some work to do it’s for someone who knows what they are doing EML light comes on sometimes when knocked of stays off central locking alarm sorn mot ran out

BMW e46 318Ci convertible 2.0 petrol 5 speed manual in Topaz Blue. It had been parked up for 4 years by the previous owner when it stopped running and left under a tarpaulin on the driveway. I bought it this year as something to tinker with and get running. I've replaced the parts that it needed to get it running and and to pass an MOT, including fuel pump, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, tyres, boot struts, rocker cover gasket, CCV, Vanos oil seals, vacuum pump oil seals, door speakers and various bulbs and now it runs and drives and everything works. Has had new oil, oil filter, plugs and airfilter. The roof is in great condition and opens and closes perfectly, everything works. Video linked below to avideo I uploaded of the roof working - https://youtu.be/ltRhu2NL-9g It could do with a new passenger wing as it has rusted through and has had a previous repair by a former owner but could be repairable by someone with the skils, also the front bumper is a bit faded it could do with some general TLC as it's been stood for so long prior to my getting it at the beginning of the year and it being 23 years old. It failed the first MOT in April as it was burning oil, so have done the Valve Stem Oil seals and it's now taxed and MOT'd. Runs very smoothly and was a very nice drive with the top down in the sunshine back from the MOT. We will be using the car daily in this lovely weather whilst it's for sale. 2.0 Petrol, Topaz Blue, M Sport wheels, Cream leather interior, cruise control, 5 speed manual, aircon, heated seats, electric memory seats, electric convertible roof, reversing parking sensors, Multi CD changer, remote central locking, Clean Airzone / ULEZ compliant Located in Avonmouth, Bristol. We put new lambda Sensors and had it retested but the Garage said it will very likely be the catalytic converter. It also a bit bumpy at idle so I presume this is all linked. BMW 118D M SPORT Registered 03/11/2008. 146,251 miles. Non runner. This will need collecting with a trailer etc. I am selling this car for my son who lives away and has bought another car as he needed to get back on the road as soon as possible after this let him down. We have received a tentative diagnosis of the timing chain having jumped a tooth. The car will actually start if you try hard enough but runs very rough until about 2000 RPM then will smooth out. Ultimately we do not know for sure what the problem is, so please view the car as a non runner and make sure you are happy with this. Apart from this the car is in reasonable condition inside and out, it has a few marks and dings commensurate with age but nothing to bad. The MOT runs until 01/10/2025 and it has had a fairly recent clutch assembly. Comes complete with the 19” alloys and good tyres. Please study the pictures carefully, or even better you are more than welcome to come and take a look, but obviously no test drives! Offers invited.
