MG MGF 1.8 petrol 2001 LOW MILEAGE
MG MGF, 2001, 1.8 petrol, 28,404 miles, MOT until 08/09/25 (only done 100 miles since last MOT) Perfect summer car. Selling on behalf of a family member. This is a very low mileage all original MGF. MOT history backs up the ultra low mileage. Runs and drives great. Soft top is in good order and folds down with ease to enjoy on those sunny days. Only reason to sell is due to lack of use and it deserves to be used more. Recent work includes new rear tyres and a small patch of welding on the sill for the MOT, and a new genuine rover/mg clutch master cylinder. Just had the suspension pumped up to its correct height, so it is all ready to go. Overall good condition only thing that lets it down is the bodywork. It is suffering with a bit of laquer peel, mainly on the bonnet and boot lid. Been quoted around £350 to have the paintwork done on it. Collection from Chivenor, North Devon. Delivery can be arranged at buyers expense. Open to offers.

Runs with misfire and oil leak. Unsure where misfire is coming from, coil packs, spark plugs and HT leads checked - all fine. Oil leak is suspected piston rings or valve stem seals. Rear sills will need attention due to rust. Compression was tested and was 160, 120, 120, 140. Clutch slave master cylinder has also gone so slips easily but does not slip out of gear. A much loved car, I just don’t have the time for it anymore. It will need to be trailered away.
