FULL Service History - 2005 Mercedes-Benz A150 Classic SE 1.5 Petrol Manual 5 door 07821 887445 Due to relocating abroad the time has come to sell our loyal Mercedes-Benz A Class. Far from an average example. A perfectly maintained car with a comprehensive and thorough service history and very low owners - Only 2 former keepers. The ideal small car. Reliable, Extremely easy to drive and to live with with. Able to be parked anywhere due to its compact nature but also far more spacious inside than people would imagine. A very roomy and comfortable car. It has a reassuring Full service history. The service book is stamped 12 times. 11 of the services have been done by the same garage. The previous owner used them for servicing and maintenance and so have we. They know the car very well. Please see the vast amount of service history within the pictures. The last service/ maintenance was on the 29th of October 2024 at 77,488 miles. On that occasion it had a service, MOT (Expires 31st October 2025),new front brake pads and 4 brand new tyres. This cost £516.37. At the service before that on the 26th of October 2023 at 73,302 miles the service itself was carried out, the brake fluid was replaced, the rear suspension coil springs were replaced and the steering rack boot was replaced. Wheel tracking was also done. This cost £669.08. In between the last two services on the 6th of February 2024 the heater resistor was replaced as were both front wipers with bosch wipers. This cost £185.88. £1,371.33 has been spent on servicing and very worthwhile maintenance recently within the last year or so and very few miles have been driven since. We have never cut corners looking after the car as can been seen via the service and maintenance history and as can be felt whilst driving. There were just 2 former keepers before us. The first owner kept the car for 1 year until 2006. The second kept it for 6 years between 2006 and 2012 and we have had it for 12 and a half years since September 2012. 07821 887445 A great small car. Owned for around 12 years, averaging around 6-7000 per year.Mileage 142,000, generally local miles school runs, nearby towns, but within that time have travelled around the country the odd times, Wales holidays etc. At 135,000 New clutch and Timing belt. 4 weeks ago new clutch cable. The car cut out on me when I'd pulled over, then managed to get a push start to work. Hours later after work I got a jump lead start from a powerful 4x4 it started first time. However when I left it running outside and returned it had stopped running. A second colleague later tried with a 1 litre car and it wouldn't start with jump leads, it tried a little but wouldn't start. Recovery the next day said its probably an electrical or fuel fault but unsure as to what, his diagnostic machine couldn't tell him, only spent a very short time including paperwork before he towed me home. He said it could be the ignition barrel as he felt it was loose but also that it could be a number of things. EGR was previously blocked off by mechanic which could be the root, so a possible reason or linked, but can be reversed apparently. Watch video for info. Weighing up my options of going through a fix, and in need of a vehicle change after 15 years, I'm going to pass it on to someone who can resolve car faults. Recent timing belt 7k ago. Recent clutch at 7k ago. Three roof bars. Tow Bar with electric socket. Becomes a huge van with seats down fully down into footwell. Sliding doors for tight spaces. It's excellent and popular for camping in, I've slept many many times inside with seats down it's like a double bed size. Mot June. Very clean and tidy.
