The clutch and gearbox are both in very good order and the car changes up and down through the gears nice and smoothly. Brakes also good stopping the car as it should. Nice set of original 15" alloy wheels and all of the tyres have plenty of tread on them. Overall a very nice and comfortable drive. The interior is also in good order and been well looked after by the previous owners. The seats are all intact (small tear on driver bolster) and would benefit a clean, and all of the electrics appear to work as they should. Carpets are nice and dry. Remote central locking works on the key. Bodywork is above average for the year of the car as can be seen in the pictures. There are the expected scuffs/scrapes/dints/marks here and there and a small crease in the boot lid. Small mark on the bottom of the sill too but No nasty rust on the car and still looks the part. Please remember this car is NOT NEW so please be realistic in your expectations.. Good spec includes: Power Steering, ABS, Driver/Passenger/Side Airbags, Electric Windows, Electric Mirrors, Air Conditioning, Stereo Radio/CD Player, Remote Central Locking, Alloy Wheels, ROOF BARS, Rear Privacy Glass, Rear Heated Screen, Leather Steering Wheel, etc.. 2010 Blue VW Golf 1.6 TDI Hatchback Spares/Repairs Has been a brilliant car. Was bought for my grandma who then passed it on to me at 69,000 miles. Was written off at 106,000 miles as got hit by a lorry on the motorway. Damage was mainly panel damage with a slightly bent wheel rim (I believe making the steering wheel shake). Panel damage as shown in the pictures but scrapes got rubbed out. Wheel rim got straightened out and has down 80,000km since with no problem. Needs a new clutch and temperature gauge is showing a problem but I'm no car mechanic! Had a quote of 1000/1500 (including labour) to repair both issues. If I could it fix myself I would keep the car but with half the cost being labour have decided against this. Selling as spares/repairs but I don't think it would take much to get going if you have some mechanical knowledge and can do the work yourself.
