Spares or Repair, 2 weeks ago I broke down and was told it was a fuel rail pressure sensor, and/or high pressure fuel pump. It start and runs, but has become smokey on start up. Now showing the '2 amigos' lights on the dash, and am told its a brake light switch. It has served me well for 3 years and hasn't faltered. It has been maintained since I've had it, but sadly I dont have the time or knowledge to continue. In very good condition throughout given its 20 years old. This is my daughter in law's Mini Cooper . It requires some minor work for the MOT and due to the arrival of a new baby my son doesn't have the time to complete the works . We have had the gearbox replaced with the more durable 6 speed Cooper S with limited slip diff at considerable cost. Engine runs fine and it's in good overall condition for it's age.
