2002 BMW X5 3.0i 5dr LPG Autogas Spares or Repair ESTATE Petrol/Lpg Hybrid Autom
...............This has been my own car for about 6 years. It has been a great vehicle and cheap to run on LPG. Still runs fine on LPG and Petrol. It has a 66 litre lpg tank where the spare wheel well is located, we have also recently installed a secondary tank in the boot but not yet connected it to the 1st tank. I have converted it from air suspension on the rear using a professional coil spring conversion. Front and rear bushes have been changed. ..............Just before christmas 24 it became a little difficult to start sometimes. I plugged it in and the computer said crankshaft sensor which I replaced. It did not fix the problem. I have since spoken to a BMW mechanic who said it could be a timing chain which has stretched. Car still runs and drives but will need some repair. It has had a small oil leak ever since I owned it but was never bad enough to worry about. I could possibly assist with delivery.
