Ford Fiesta - 1.4 Silver Limited Edition 3dr
Ford Fiesta MK6 1.4 Silver Edition We have owned this car since 2019, the cambelt was changed on purchase and it has had oil changes yearly, using Mobil 3000 5w30 Formula FE oil to the correct Ford specification. Any parts required during our ownership have been changed when required and the brakes have been upgraded to S150 spec on the front, with calipers, discs and pads. A new exhaust back box and new Bosch battery have recently been fitted as well. Good tyres all round and the 1.4 engine is happy on motorways or town driving. A recent MOT required new copper brake lines front and rear and these were all replaced. There is some fading to the rear bumper paint, a small dent on the roof (pictured) which was there when we bought it and the normal age related marks. Selling as no longer required.

SPARES & REPAIRS - DOES RUN As you can see from the photos the car isn't in the best of shape. There is cosmetic damage all over, scratches, small dents, cracks and bumps. I've tried to provide photos from all angles. MOT NOVEMBER. NEEDS CLUTCH - FEELS LIKE IT IS ABOUT TO GO SOON, NOT VERY GOOD ON ANY INCLINE, TAKES A WHILE. More in depth: Bird marks on roof and bonnet. Scratches down most sides and front bumper. Also on boot. Dent on driver door above handle. Rear passenger door dent/chip. Crack back right, covered by sticker. Yellowing on rear driver indicator light. Peeling on boot above numberplate. Paint peeling on front. Missing 3/4 roof rack clip/covers. Driver wingmirror casing loose/broken. Dusty, dirty. Did use small hoover to clean some up but not a full detail or clean. Hole in driver floor, not through. Back rear passenger break light bulb gone. Front Passenger Headlight bulb gone. Some sealing broken. Sometimes when ignition is turnt, it doesn't turn on and can hear a slight flapping. Usually wait 10-20 seconds try again, only happens rarely. Twice in the last 6 months. Dog hairs on seats. "Good" things: Spare tyre & Jack. New Reg Plates Since December. 3 new tyres since December. Spacious. Did run lovely before clutch started to go. ULEZ Compatible. NO SERVICE SINCE 2019. SERVICE BOOK THERE. ONLY MOT CERTS AND ODD REPAIR DOCUMENTS. 2 KEYS TOTAL. Has been regularly serviced at least once a year with reports for the large majority asides from the odd job I have done myself. Relatively fresh timing belt. Slight shows of wear n tear, such as on the front bumper as can see in photos, but runs very well. Replaced starter motor 500 or so miles ago, went for a slightly cheaper part, resulting in a slightly coarse start up sound - this doesn't affect how it runs. ULEZ compliant. Currently SORN as of May. Tyres in good condition. Pretty cheap to insure and cheap to run. Runs with misfire and oil leak. Unsure where misfire is coming from, coil packs, spark plugs and HT leads checked - all fine. Oil leak is suspected piston rings or valve stem seals. Rear sills will need attention due to rust. Compression was tested and was 160, 120, 120, 140. Clutch slave master cylinder has also gone so slips easily but does not slip out of gear. A much loved car, I just don’t have the time for it anymore. It will need to be trailered away.
