MOT expired. Many repairs needed before presenting for MOT. Known issues are: Faulty oxygen sensor causing engine fault light to be on. Crankcase breather pipe split. Wishbone bushes worn and pulling out of bush sleeves. Track rod ends and gaitors need replacing. Corroded central exhaust mount. Passenger side window switch missing. Front and rear valances show signs of crazing but are structurally ok. Needs 4 new tyres. We have had previous welding repairs made to both sills to pass previous MOTs. Car was running fine before expiry of MOT 14 June 2025. Car is very presentable inside and out. This is a 19 year old car that requires work to get back on the road. AK06TKV has a displayed mileage of 144,000 miles but actual milage is 70 to 80 K. Previous owner had to have the immobilisor replaced with a used item that came with different displayed mileage on the dash. The interior is in very good condition throughout. Worth buying to obtain interior alone! Hood intact but has had repairs internally around the rear glass panel. Hood is watertight. This is my honest assessment of a much loved car which we have had since 2020 (a Bangers and Cash purchase from Matthewsons in Yorks). Various receipts and paperwork to go with car.

If you are after a cheap reliable car that is mechanically perfect then here it is! For sale is our 2006 Kia Picanto 1.1 petrol 5 door which averages 55 mpg, is cheap to insure and tax :) Local delivery considered if it helps. Fixed price bargain £650. Our Picanto is mechanically perfect! No issues at all. Its MOT’d til late August and has not failed a test since 2018! It has a chain driven engine so no scary cam belt to worry about and has been serviced on time all the time. In the last couple of years it has had new tyres, new clutch, new suspension bits, new exhaust, sill work to future proof it and new battery (together these cost more than we are asking for the car!). It has no knocks, issues, warning lights etc. Last years couple of advisories were immediately taken care off. It will fly thru its next MOT, it’s only done 2000 miles since its last MOT! It will average 55 mpg and 65+ mpg on a run. Road Tax is £13 a month. Insurance is very cheap. Condition wise it certainly is not a brand new show car, it has some patchy paint and age related imperfections as expected but as you can see from the photos nothing that stops it from its daily use etc. It has a Kenwood Stereo System, Electric Windows, Electric Heated Rear Screen, Air Conditioning, Central Locking, 3x Cup Holders, Power Steering, Air Bags etc It comes with 2 keys, tons of paperwork, receipts and MOTS, spare wheel and tyre. Test drives will strictly be undertaken by me. Local delivery considered if it helps. No time wasters, just looking or tyre kickers. Needs a new chain and would be a great project for someone (competent mechanic) to get it back on the road (no sign of any damage, no noise when it failed, car just lost power but head not removed yet). Quite good condition for age, as can be seen in the photos (some signs of age, as you would expect). Owned since 2 years old but don't have the time to do the chain myself, so selling to a good home. I really wish I didn't have to sell this car, I love it a lot, but unfortunately, the time has come. I just don't have the time or knowledge to maintain the vehicle the way it deserves, so I am looking for someone to give it the TLC it needs. Rover 75 Classic SE CDT Black 2L Diesel 2002 ~74,000 SORN & MOT Expired No optional extras or modifications fitted Last service over a year ago Condition: Tired, but not in bad condition. A few minor scrapes and marks but could probably be detailed out. Minor electric issue, possibly a loose wire, causing the indicator light to speed up on occasion. Battery flat. The engine is in beautiful condition, purrs and runs wonderfully, and the gearbox is still as smooth as silk. Interior is good but has a bit of wear from age. The car currently has one MAJOR ISSUE - the rear brakes are not functioning, i.e., there is no working handbrake. I have the parts required to fix the issue but haven't been able to find the time to do it. Once the rear brakes have been fixed, this car will run and operate wonderfully. Thanks to the low mileage, it'll keep going for years and years to come! I also have some additional spare parts and Haynes manual that will be included.
