Cheap Volkswagen Beetle convertible with remote central locking, alarm, immobiliser, alloy wheels, electric folding roof, electric windows, electric mirrors, air conditioning, seat & wheel height adjustment, cd tuner and original dashboard flower in vase. Being sold as a part exchange to clear, as seen and with no warranty. A safety check has been carried out on the vehicle and is available to view before purchase. The mot has now expired and we need the space, so price has been reduced by £1000 to just £500 to clear. Obviously no warranty. Come and take it away. The business ran successfully until the outbreak of World War II when the site was requisitioned by the army and returned to commercial use at the end of hostilities. Built in the fashionable Art Deco style of the time, the original building was single storey, with the upper floor and extra workshop space being added as the business prospered. Philpotts Garage continued into the 1960's when the site became a petrol station - the canopy is still in place. Then in the 1980's, the site reverted back to sales and serving, operating as V-Wise - a German car specialist. Then finally as The German Car Centre before Pierremonts bought the site in 2006. Pierremonts was established in 1988 as a family-owned business in Broadstairs offering servicing, mot's, car and van hire and a selection of used cars for sale. In 2006 we moved to larger premises at our current site in Ramsgate allowing us to double the size of our used car forecourt and increase the number of workshop ramps from two to six along with state-of-the art diagnostic equipment, a computerised rolling road and a dedicated mot testing area. Whilst we have expanded over the years, our aims have remained the same as the day we started - to provide a personal and professional service at a sensible price for all your motoring needs, so give us a call or come in and see us - you can be assured of a warm welcome. Warranty: Pierremonts are proud of our long association with the RAC. As an approved business, we repair all makes and models brought to us by their recovery vehicles and also supply a 3 month RAC warranty with all of our retail stock. On vehicles up to 10 years old a top-of-the range Platinum warranty is included along with 12 months complimentary roadside assistance cover, and on vehicles from 10 to 15 years old, RAC’s Gold warranty is supplied. We also offer the opportunity to extend your warranty to a full year which also comes with an upgrade from the standard £1000 limit per claim to the value of the car per claim and again, includes complimentary roadside assistance cover and a big saving on the normal retail cost. I have this car for nearly 17 years. 2.0 Fsi engine. Always used super unleaded fuel. Never had any mechanical problem. No accident. Cruise control, Parking sensors, electric windows, rain sensor etc. Had regular service done until 2021, since then only changed oil filters. Belt and tank was changed at 60k milee. Battery has nearly 3 ys warranty, rear brake pads under kwik fit warranty, also calipers are just over a year old. Front left wing is rusty, ceiling cloth come off, needs tiding. Few other scratches etc. 2 doors not locking with central locking, I was told could be fuses, need a full service and proper clean. Possibly need front one parking bulb as sometimes light comes on. Selling because need a small car.
