Volkswagen Golf - 1.6 TDI S Euro 5 5dr
2010 Blue VW Golf 1.6 TDI Hatchback Spares/Repairs Has been a brilliant car. Was bought for my grandma who then passed it on to me at 69,000 miles. Was written off at 106,000 miles as got hit by a lorry on the motorway. Damage was mainly panel damage with a slightly bent wheel rim (I believe making the steering wheel shake). Panel damage as shown in the pictures but scrapes got rubbed out. Wheel rim got straightened out and has down 80,000km since with no problem. Needs a new clutch and temperature gauge is showing a problem but I'm no car mechanic! Had a quote of 1000/1500 (including labour) to repair both issues. If I could it fix myself I would keep the car but with half the cost being labour have decided against this. Selling as spares/repairs but I don't think it would take much to get going if you have some mechanical knowledge and can do the work yourself. Audi a3 s Tronic 1.6 tdi 128000 miles had new timing belt and service last year, some service history,mot has expired and has a problem with gear box. It has a leak from the gearbox sump and will need to be trailered away everything else was working perfectly until problem. It comes out of gear due to sump leaking and low oil level. Kia Picanto Does have an issue with ABS trying to lock in when first starting the car but this reftifies after 30 seconds, do have the ABS ring part available with the car, just haven't fitted it. Other than that runs fine, is used regularly to get to and from Swadlincote for work. Was quoted £70 to sort ABS but have since purchased the part and looks easy enough to fit on videos I've seen.
