Jumping in , a quick trip to the nearby petrol station, 25 pound of fuel and were off. Driven 159 miles back, just over 3 and 1/2 hours, What a great car to drove back in, the slightly sporty seats are very supportive. Slightly higher seating position and a huge glass windscreen. I do like a VAG group car, and everything is easily to hand. Everything seemed tp work on the way back, windows, mirrors, even the climate, aircon is cold, but not ICE cold...... - MECHANICALS: Fitted with the brilliant 2.0 TDI Vw engine. My 3rd favourite engine ever, after the 1.9TDI and 1.2 3 cylinder vw engines. Getting upto speed straight on to the A19, then onto the A1 it didn't miss a beat, Sounds great , the PD engine. Mated to the 6 speed gearbox, It did drive well. Changes well, and no issues with the suspension either. Quite a quiet car to drive back in.... - EXTERIOR: The car is finished on metallic black, Suprisingly for a 17 year old car there really isn't that much in the way of damage. Yes there's a slight crease dent in the rear drivers quarter, and another in the rear passenger door, problems of having flat doors in a supermarket car park im guessing. There's a crack in the rear passenger light, it's been repaired, and a cracked front fog lamp. However, for 17 years old, its in great shape, and im probably being more honest than most car traders, by actually picking fault with a nice car.... - INTERIOR: The car has sports like front seats, Very supportive on the way back, and hardly any damage / wear to the drivers bolster. The passenger front is also in good condition, As are the 3 movable rear seats that slide back wards and forwards, allowing more leg room, or a larger boot, brilliant !! The boot is HUGE, obviously being the XL, bigger than a normal Altea. Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 2.0 HDI Exclusive - 2007 - Spares or Repairs (Cat N) Selling my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Exclusive, 2.0 HDI diesel, mileage ~149k, automatic, 2007. 7 seats, beige interior, panoramic windscreen. Car is running and driving fine - used regularly - but due to some cosmetic and electrical faults, selling as spares or repair. The good stuff: - Engine runs smoothly - Automatic gearbox in good condition - Brand new front brakes (discs, pads & calipers replaced recently) - Timing belt kit and condenser changed in May 2023 in a Citroen specialist garage (I can attach the paperwork for this job plus I have a history of what's been done in a past couple of years as it's been going to the same Citroen specialist garage - Two front tyres replaced recently, rear ones due to be replaced - Starts, drives, stops without any issues - Exclusive spec - panoramic windscreen, lots of features - 7-seater - good space and layout What's not perfect: - Category N - involved in a minor accident last year - Dent on rear boot lid - right side (~25 cm) - Tailgate trim is taped on (still opens fine by pulling wiper blade mount) - Rear window - doesn't open, button is missing but works fine when button is in - Rear parking sensors not working - just need reconnecting - Rust on both side sills - front (common issue in C4s Grand Picasso) - Front bonnet slightly bent - Driver's side headlight mount cracked - headlight moves slightly but stays in place - Missing fog light cover (driver's side) - Front grill trim is slightly out from the clips (needs popping back on the place) - Rear right passenger window doesn't open - Front passenger door doesn't lock with central locking - Air con sometimes blows warm on the left side of the car but it's cold on the right side (easy fix) - Rear air suspension replaced with regular springs (common fix) - Interior wear: driver's interior handle is loose, upper gloveboxes are peeling from sun - Rear left 7th seat won't fold properly - forcing it may bend the rails - 15-20 cm scratch on rear left panel near the wheel, plus a few other minor scratches Summary: This car is a solid runner, used daily, with a reliable engine and gearbox. 2007 Ford Focus C-Max 2.0 TDCi - £950 This 2007 Ford Focus C-Max 2.0 TDCi Ghia 5dr MPV is a vehicle with a 1997cc diesel engine, featuring alloy wheels and air conditioning for added convenience. This reliable MPV has 5 doors and a grey interior, with a smooth 6 speed manual transmission making it easy to drive. With only 2 previous owners, this Ford Focus C-Max is a practical and stylish choice for those looking for a dependable multi-purpose vehicle. In my 6-ish months of ownership, I have; - Replaced the alternator for a brand new unit, - Replaced the battery for a new 12v battery, - Changed the drivers side mirror for a secondhand unit as trying to find a new mirror cover for it was pretty much impossible, - Fitted a touchscreen Android head unit (able to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto) + DAB antenna. Does also have a reversing camera included, but it was too much hassle for me to fit but will come with the car, along with the original factory radio, - Replaced the gearstick gator after spending at least a month trying to find one that fit. When I first got the car it had an intermittent electrical fault where the car would lose communication and go into limp mode, however after driving about in it to work and back and trips out here and there, it has not returned. Probably needed a new battery, which it has now got. A/c may need re-gassing however the heater works lovely. This car is the Ghia trim level which has features like; - Cruise Control, - Automatic lights, - Automatic wipers, - Electronic parking brake, - Heated front and rear screen + mirrors, - Electric windows all round. Has a decent sized boot, rear seats can fold down or be removed entirely, managed to fit a tigra bonnet in no problem. 3 12v sockets in the car, one front, one for the rear seats and one in the boot.
