Volkswagen Golf - 1.6 TDI S Euro 5 5dr
2010 Blue VW Golf 1.6 TDI Hatchback Spares/Repairs Has been a brilliant car. Was bought for my grandma who then passed it on to me at 69,000 miles. Was written off at 106,000 miles as got hit by a lorry on the motorway. Damage was mainly panel damage with a slightly bent wheel rim (I believe making the steering wheel shake). Panel damage as shown in the pictures but scrapes got rubbed out. Wheel rim got straightened out and has down 80,000km since with no problem. Needs a new clutch and temperature gauge is showing a problem but I'm no car mechanic! Had a quote of 1000/1500 (including labour) to repair both issues. If I could it fix myself I would keep the car but with half the cost being labour have decided against this. Selling as spares/repairs but I don't think it would take much to get going if you have some mechanical knowledge and can do the work yourself. Recent work done, all been done within last 1,000 miles, Timing belt (with receipt ),Front brake discs and pads (with receipt ),EGR valve (no receipt ),Windscreen has been taken out and resealed which is a common problem on most Volvos due to not being sealed properly at the factory. DPF will need a regen which will cost around £150 as car is intermittent going into limp mode on occasions, heaters not working due to faulty fuse or relay, radio and speakers works great but no display on the screen. Tax £35 per year, MOT till 30 september 2025, Good service history, Full leather interior, Reversing sensors, Good solid car apart from the problems listed.
