Had clutch master cylinder replaced as was told that was problem why car wouldn't start. No lights on dash or fault codes, it says push clutch to start but will still not start. All interior, exterior and engine bay mint condition no wear.(apart from wing) Power hood and every switch on car full working order mint condition no wear at all. Only 72k mileage Car is sorn. Could be easy fix for someone that knows cars well. Buyer would need to get car recovered from Grimsby as it will not drive. ie truck/trailer. Audi A4 Avant - 2.0 TDI Executive SE Euro 4 5dr - SUPER RELIABLE WORKHORSE
This Audi A4 2.0 Tdi Avant has been a superb and dependable workhorse for the near 30,000 miles I have covered while I have owned it. It has been just that, a superb workhorse needing only the usual service maintenance and tyres and had a cambelt at 195,000. Don't be put off by the mileage there are far more poorly maintained cars out there with half the miles and not as reliable as this old girl, the car puls strong, does not smoke even when it pulls a trailer, clutch is good, and returns 45mpg pretty much all the time. It really doesn't look its age or mileage with its genuine Audi 18" Multi Spoke alloys and red calipers, the black pack dechrome also sets it off from other models. I will be sad to see her go as it has been so reliable I may live to regret it, but my work brings even more miles for me to cover soon. Mercedes-Benz A Class - 2.0 A160 CDI Classic SE CVT 5dr
SPARES OR REPAIR There is a transmission fault, codes have been read and are: 0793 (secondary rpm sensor Y3/9b4 unavailable) 0722 (RPM Sensor Y3/9b5 unavailable) 0896 (impermissible adjustment of the step-down ratio) No problems until the fault comes up (which can be after 10 minutes or drive for hours just fine). Once the fault comes up it feels like it's seeking rpm under acceleration. Stopping and starting the car clears the fault on screen and it drives normally again. Clean car with lovely interior, auto headlights, large colour screen, cd multi-changer in glovebox. Would repair but we have 3 cars and need to get rid of one and I'm not a mechanic and garage rates for dismantling it is prohibitive (look up ecu repair for Mercedes Benz 722.8 CVT).
