The business ran successfully until the outbreak of World War II when the site was requisitioned by the army and returned to commercial use at the end of hostilities. Built in the fashionable Art Deco style of the time, the original building was single storey, with the upper floor and extra workshop space being added as the business prospered. Philpotts Garage continued into the 1960's when the site became a petrol station - the canopy is still in place. Then in the 1980's, the site reverted back to sales and serving, operating as V-Wise - a German car specialist. Then finally as The German Car Centre before Pierremonts bought the site in 2006. Pierremonts was established in 1988 as a family-owned business in Broadstairs offering servicing, mot's, car and van hire and a selection of used cars for sale. In 2006 we moved to larger premises at our current site in Ramsgate allowing us to double the size of our used car forecourt and increase the number of workshop ramps from two to six along with state-of-the art diagnostic equipment, a computerised rolling road and a dedicated mot testing area. Peugeot 207 Sport CC Convertible The car has only covered 72,084 miles and has been exceptionally well maintained throughout its life. It drives faultlessly, has almost a full years MOT, full service history + a recent service less than 100 miles ago - along with new brakes and other preventative maintenance. The bodywork isn’t the best, but given its age it’s not bad. Mechanically It needs nothing and is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner. The clutch biting point is nice and high so has loads of life left in it, drives smoothly and everything works as it should. including the electric roof. The aircon is ice cold only having recently been re-gassed and there are no electrical faults, dashboard errors or anything untoward. Only reason for sale is my partner has decided to move on from the convertible life into a hatchback. General Info: MOT – Valid until 26th July 2026 Only advisories were for slightly play in a ball joint and the nearside front tyre being near the legal limit on the edge, however it still has over 4-5mm across both front tyres, I think the MOT tester was a bit harsh, but nonetheless this is the only other advisory on the car to monitor over the next year. The only things that let this car down is a key mark courtesy of some inconsiderate vandals on the driver side rear quarter, I have polished this out as best I can and and being silver it isn’t horribly obvious, a professional could probably polish this back to barely being noticeable, however as the car is no longer in use or taxed / insured and off the road we’re letting it go as is and taking this into account on the price. There’s a few marks on the rear bumper also. Nothing show stopping but would rather just be upfront – it is still in far better condition than most I’ve seen for sale. Otherwise, other than the odd stone chip or age-related mark, there’s nothing to call out. It is a genuinely looked after motor and a really cheap way fun way to enjoy some time with the roof down, and as much as I hate to admit it, it’s actually quite fun to drive!

This is my Peugeot 207cc 2010 1.6 petrol Manual Transmission 84.000 miles (will rise as still in use) The car has recently had a full service including oil replacement, oil filters, air filters, cabin filters. The car has just had a new battery replacement, new brake vacuum pump and a new oil sensor fitted. The car is very clean and tidy for the age inside and out and it has a large boot space. Cons: The roof is temperamental, I believe it is the sensor inside the boot which is ment to be an easy fix. The boot does not complete the final menuver then opening but closes perfectly. The MOT is due again in December, should pass easily. Private plate is not included This car is priced for a quick sale. First to see will buy.
