Volkswagen Golf - 1.6 TDI S Euro 5 5dr
2010 Blue VW Golf 1.6 TDI Hatchback Spares/Repairs Has been a brilliant car. Was bought for my grandma who then passed it on to me at 69,000 miles. Was written off at 106,000 miles as got hit by a lorry on the motorway. Damage was mainly panel damage with a slightly bent wheel rim (I believe making the steering wheel shake). Panel damage as shown in the pictures but scrapes got rubbed out. Wheel rim got straightened out and has down 80,000km since with no problem. Needs a new clutch and temperature gauge is showing a problem but I'm no car mechanic! Had a quote of 1000/1500 (including labour) to repair both issues. If I could it fix myself I would keep the car but with half the cost being labour have decided against this. Selling as spares/repairs but I don't think it would take much to get going if you have some mechanical knowledge and can do the work yourself. I really wish I didn't have to sell this car, I love it a lot, but unfortunately, the time has come. I just don't have the time or knowledge to maintain the vehicle the way it deserves, so I am looking for someone to give it the TLC it needs. Rover 75 Classic SE CDT Black 2L Diesel 2002 ~74,000 SORN & MOT Expired No optional extras or modifications fitted Last service over a year ago Condition: Tired, but not in bad condition. A few minor scrapes and marks but could probably be detailed out. Minor electric issue, possibly a loose wire, causing the indicator light to speed up on occasion. Battery flat. The engine is in beautiful condition, purrs and runs wonderfully, and the gearbox is still as smooth as silk. Interior is good but has a bit of wear from age. The car currently has one MAJOR ISSUE - the rear brakes are not functioning, i.e., there is no working handbrake. I have the parts required to fix the issue but haven't been able to find the time to do it. Once the rear brakes have been fixed, this car will run and operate wonderfully. Thanks to the low mileage, it'll keep going for years and years to come! I also have some additional spare parts and Haynes manual that will be included.
