Mercedes-Benz C Class - 1.8 C200 Kompressor Elegance SE 4dr
We were in France for a couple of years and had started the process to export the car there but it was never done. Having brought it back to the UK it now has to have a V55/5 form to remove the export marker. There is no charge for this. The car does need an MOT but is in decent condition but it needs the MOT to request the V55/5 form. The car is a good runner with good engine and gearbox and starts first time every time. It has new brakes all round and new battery and also new starter motor about 18 months ago. I know of no faults that would cause it to fail an MOT. Last MOT in 2022 in the UK was fine with nothing required and Control Technique (MOT equivalent in France in 2023 was also clear. The price reflects the condition of the car without an MOT.

2001 V5 present and all in order. MOT expired in February. Has coolant leak at rear of engine (boot side). Owned and driven daily for ten years and has been surprisingly reliable and lots of fun. Driving very well on last trip down from Liverpool. Many new parts, including lambda sensors, cat and new Borg and Beck clutch kit less than 2000 miles ago. Timing belts due in forty thousand. Wheel bearings replaced. Ideal parts car or repair and use as runabout. Door damaged by another vehicle last year, repair costs (door only) made it cat N I think. Can be started for a few seconds to listen to engine. Cannot be driven until leak fixed and motd. Nice set of tuning fork alloys but will need a couple of tyres. Good powerful sound system with Kenwood head and aux. Leather chairs, drivers seat well worn but comfortable. Usual lacquer peel on bonnet. Stainless coolant pipes and new rad about three years back.Thermostat upgrade. Last mass produced English sports car and mid engined to boot! Maybe good resto as its one of the much better later models and top of the range VVC. Car has been waxoyled with re applications. Two sets of keys and fobs.History file including delivery dockets. No offers. No paypal.

Car has no MOT and the instrument panel/display is intermittent. Good runner id good condition for year and has only covered around 56-57000 mls. Car failed MOT on rear subframe assembly (see image of MOT cert) and needs a welding repair plus some advisories. Cost for all repairs is estimated at between 300-400 pounds. Car value when done is approx. 1400-1500 pounds so, we've left good value in the car once done! Display is mostly not working but we have an image from 2 years ago showing the then mileage. The car is only driven by my wife to go to work 4 days a week and does 15 mls/day. It has new tyres and is fairly clean. We've maintained the car having any work needed done there and then including a new starter last year but to be fair, it's about the only issue we've had other than a couple of tyres. She runs well and everything works as it should. We're not fixing it because, I have a company car coming and just don't need this anymore so, we're letting the insurance lapse and have SORN the car. Current value if MOT'd would be between 14-1500 quid so, we looked at other cars with similar probs and priced this accordingly and fairly. Any inspection welcome but I'm not gonna listen to stupid offers and or accommodate tyre kickers! It is what it is, a good 21 yr old car with a repair required to bring it back to road legal. A new Bentley it is NOT!!

MOT expired. Many repairs needed before presenting for MOT. Known issues are: Faulty oxygen sensor causing engine fault light to be on. Crankcase breather pipe split. Wishbone bushes worn and pulling out of bush sleeves. Track rod ends and gaitors need replacing. Corroded central exhaust mount. Passenger side window switch missing. Front and rear valances show signs of crazing but are structurally ok. Needs 4 new tyres. We have had previous welding repairs made to both sills to pass previous MOTs. Car was running fine before expiry of MOT 14 June 2025. Car is very presentable inside and out. This is a 19 year old car that requires work to get back on the road. AK06TKV has a displayed mileage of 144,000 miles but actual milage is 70 to 80 K. Previous owner had to have the immobilisor replaced with a used item that came with different displayed mileage on the dash. The interior is in very good condition throughout. Worth buying to obtain interior alone! Hood intact but has had repairs internally around the rear glass panel. Hood is watertight. This is my honest assessment of a much loved car which we have had since 2020 (a Bangers and Cash purchase from Matthewsons in Yorks). Various receipts and paperwork to go with car.

If you are after a cheap reliable car that is mechanically perfect then here it is! For sale is our 2006 Kia Picanto 1.1 petrol 5 door which averages 55 mpg, is cheap to insure and tax :) Local delivery considered if it helps. Fixed price bargain £650. Our Picanto is mechanically perfect! No issues at all. Its MOT’d til late August and has not failed a test since 2018! It has a chain driven engine so no scary cam belt to worry about and has been serviced on time all the time. In the last couple of years it has had new tyres, new clutch, new suspension bits, new exhaust, sill work to future proof it and new battery (together these cost more than we are asking for the car!). It has no knocks, issues, warning lights etc. Last years couple of advisories were immediately taken care off. It will fly thru its next MOT, it’s only done 2000 miles since its last MOT! It will average 55 mpg and 65+ mpg on a run. Road Tax is £13 a month. Insurance is very cheap. Condition wise it certainly is not a brand new show car, it has some patchy paint and age related imperfections as expected but as you can see from the photos nothing that stops it from its daily use etc. It has a Kenwood Stereo System, Electric Windows, Electric Heated Rear Screen, Air Conditioning, Central Locking, 3x Cup Holders, Power Steering, Air Bags etc It comes with 2 keys, tons of paperwork, receipts and MOTS, spare wheel and tyre. Test drives will strictly be undertaken by me. Local delivery considered if it helps. No time wasters, just looking or tyre kickers.
